Location we knew was fabulous. Ski room was non existent which was the best bit - we just went to the shop and they sorted everything with a smile - skis were outside ready. Food was ok, especially breakfast (bacon was a little undercooked for me), L'atelier was great for raclette but pasta was a bit average! Didn't eat in formal restaurant. Views, balcony etc amazing and spa was lovely.

Felt a bit formal - in a ski resort could have been more relaxed. Breakfast felt like being in a business hotel! I think there could have been a bit of music in the bar - it was empty and no atmosphere. I don't mean a loud party scene just something a bit more atmospheric - and the balcony was amazing but nobody on it! Changing after a day's skiing when we had no option (no late check out) was an absolute nightmare in 500' heat in the spa. No point showering as it was ridiculously hot and stressful. Nowhere to lay cases out apart from in spa reception which staff were not best pleased with!

Taj I Mar is an exceptional hotel that comfortably exceeded expectation: Rooms were a great design (we had one over 2 floors with living below and included a huge area for storing and drying all our ski clothes). A view directly over the runs and mountains with a balcony, added to the overall appeal. Their ski shop gave fantastic service, looked after our skis and dried and warmed our boots each night. Add a spa, a pool, jacuzzi etc, and there wasn't much more we could have wished for. Considering what we got, it was really good value too. Rare for me to give top marks, but this deserved it.

I'd love to see a more imaginative approach to food. Every restaurant in town offers the same predictable death by cheese, pizza and ham routine, so it would be good to see healthier more diverse menus in both the restaurant and brasserie. More and better big salads!

Excellent location. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great ski shop on site. Very comfortable rooms. Nice pool facilities.

A minor detail but one that ought to be fixed - the rooms have auto sensor lights meaning that any member of the family using the bathroom at night would set off multiple lights. This is quite disruptive (we were a family sharing a suite) and seems like an issue which could be resolved.

Everything from the moment we walked in, amazing place. Was so nice, warm & cosy at all times, literally home away from home. Would recommend it to anyone, first time visiting the alps and even skiing it didnt fail to amaze me, certainly will be coming back.

impeccable facilities, almost on the slopes.

there is a very limited menu for the half pension. we had dietary restrictions which were communicated in advance. yet, we often had to remind them and it felt like they were unprepared for the extra effort. It’s a bit less than what you would expect from a 5*-hotel. the food was tasty and the service was fair.

Everything! Extremely comfortable room, great dinner. Very welcoming staff. Great service and location for skiing.

Toilet and shower/bathtub are separate, which is great, but there is no sink in the toilet (there is one of course in the bathroom).

everyone was very helpful at reception when we arrived, we appreciated that, you can get to arc 1950 in 2 min by cabin lift that is next door to the hotel when you want more restaurants or shops 😉

Perfect location, beautiful facilities, nice spa, friendly staff. A lot of signs of attention to detail, eg chocolates on the cushions, baby snow trolley,…

The breakfast is good but a bit repetitive if you stay for one week.
