Everything was great, good service and cordial staff. The breakfast was nice. Peace and quiet.

It would be nice if they would make the check out at 11:00. Currently it is at 10:00, too early! in my view. The check in on the other hand is too late, 15:00 pm!. So at the least they should do the check out one hour later at 11:00

Lot of free parking spaces so it’s very good for those who drive. Room was big compared to Japanese standard and the bed was comfy. There’s also free coffee machine right at the registration.

It’s getting old but that’s about it really.

Service and breakfast

Large rooms. Large beds. Clean and tidy. Extremely close to seibu-chichibu station (and not too far walk to Chichibu station). Staff friendly. Buffet breakfast (even in these corona virus times) was good.

While renovated in the not so recent past certain common features in modern rooms were missing. During this trip the lack of usb charging was most noticeable (cycling so had limited carrying ability glad I brought a charger, as the room did not have one). The AC is effective but loud. Denim junpei could use some replacement with something lighter and more comfortable. With all the road cyclists coming through town, perhaps add a road bike stand to the parking area.

The breakfast was good - lots of options - very Japanese (of course, but sometimes there is a more western option). Rooms were very clean. I wish I had gone for two twin rooms, as my double room was quite small and the twin room that the kids had was much better (the twin room cost slightly more). The bathroom was nice and very clean. The room cleaning service each day was great. The area was fantastic and it was very easy to get around on the local train, which was close to the hotel. The food options in town were also excellent.

Just wish I had gone for a larger room - but the description on the website was very clear - that was just my fault.

furniture and facilities in room are old the two car parks under the building are small. Will need to use the parking lot across the road when those two car parks re full. This is not very friendly to visitors with luggage
