Just returned from vacation and wanted to share our great experience at Blue Star Ölüdeniz. It’s a hotel with a charming atmosphere — lush greenery, cleanliness, pleasant music, and a relaxing vibe that makes it perfect for a real getaway. The rooms are spacious, clean, thoughtfully decorated, and have everything you need. Housekeeping is done daily, with fresh towels and linens. One of the highlights was how quiet the rooms are — guaranteed restful sleep. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, with a focus on fresh ingredients. The staff were especially impressive — polite, attentive, and always ready to help, particularly at the reception. Huge thanks for the warm hospitality. The location is another big plus: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and the center of Ölüdeniz, yet the hotel is tucked away from the noise — a perfect balance. If you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable place with character, Blue Star is a great choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Clean, modern and relaxing hotel. Great location near to the beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely pool & facilities. We had a garden room which had a nice outdoor space, was comfortable and had a fridge. All of the staff were kind and friendly. Really good value for money! It was also my fiancé’s birthday during our stay and the housekeepers did a lovely surprise of decorating the room and complementary bottle of wine - thank you!

It can be quite noisy at night from the surrounding bars - the hotel provides ear plugs and the AC helped minimise the outdoor noise so we still slept well. Great selection & quality at breakfast. However would like more sweet options and fresh fruit.

The Blue Star hotel is in a great location, only a couple of minutes from the beach and shops. I loved how easy it was for me to find everything nearby. The road is a dead end so no speeding cars although it's a busy stopping point for mopeds. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can book excursions on your behalf although I booked directly with vendors during my stay. The room I stayed in was very modern and spacious. The room has a good size fridge and bottled water is provided daily. I liked the "do not disturb electronic display" which I could activate from inside the room. WiFi worked as well in the room as outside which isn't the case for every hotel. The pool area was pristine, very clean and no chipped or uneven surfaces. The outside toilet/changing area was also very modern, clean and spacious. I liked the cabanas too, which were nice to have shade from the hot sun. Despite being close to all the noisy bars, with earplugs I slept very soundly.

There didn't seem to be an option to open a bar tab for the room (at least it wasn't offered to me) which I thought was odd. I just paid each time. Breakfast was ok but only served between 8-10 am which meant I missed it when I had early excursion pickups. I got a bit cold at night, an extra blanket in the room would be nice. There are no USB ports at the electrical outlets, although this wasn't an issue for me because I brought battery blocks.

The staff are explicitly amazing, I went on a daily cruise and forgot to check out, the staff contacted me took permission to pack my bags as another family reserved the room, and everything was perfectly packed and they kept the safe unopened until my return, which is a plus. Upon arrival I personally unlocked the safe and collected my items. They were so kind and amazing specially that it was completely my fault as I forgot my checkout time. Everything was perfectly packed walking distance from everything totally coming back again and recommending my friends to spend their honeymoon.

I stayed at Blue Star Hotel in Ölüdeniz and had a really enjoyable experience. The location is great, about 45 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from Fethiye city center, and just a 7-minute walk to the beach. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant. The room was clean, nicely maintained, and having a balcony was a big plus. Breakfast was also a highlight, the menu had a good variety and everything looked and tasted fresh. Overall, I was very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. I’d definitely come back, great vibes, nice staff, and a perfect spot to enjoy Ölüdeniz.

it can get quite loud at night due to nearby parties and bars, especially until around 3 AM. It didn’t bother us too much since we stayed up late, but light sleepers might want to consider this (the hotel provided earplugs so that’s also appropriated). Also, on our second day, the bathroom had a bad smell. We called the receptionist, who did try to help, but wasn’t able to solve the issue. Thankfully, the smell went away on its own by the evening and didn’t return.

The hotel is located very close to the sea, which made our stay even more enjoyable. There are plenty of restaurants and small shops within walking distance, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel grounds are quite spacious and well-maintained. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety of options. Our room was clean and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant experience – would definitely recommend!

The area can get quite noisy in the evenings due to the nearby restaurants and cafés. Also, the bathroom and shower doors are not fully enclosed — there are open gaps at the top and bottom, which may affect privacy.

We had an amazing stay at Blue Star Hotel. Beautiful and clean facilities, great pool and comfortable rooms , very close to the beach and bus station. The shops and main street just a few streets away , so i would just say that this hotel has the best value for everything. And not the last to mention that people working here can accommodate all your needs and make your stay incredible. The boat trip recommended was amazing and they also have a nice bar area and pool table that my husband enjoyed gladly😊 When we are coming back to Oludeniz definitely would be staying here.

Nothing to not like

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect — close to local attractions and easy to get around. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Everything was great, though the Wi-Fi could be faster and the breakfast was okay, but could be improved.

This was our first visit to Turkey after years of avoiding it due to preconceived ideas. Olu Deniz really exceeded our expectations, such a friendly resort and we were so glad we picked the Blue Star Hotel after much research. Our room was amazing. The complex and pool area is spotless. Loved watching the paragliders from our balcony. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. The location was perfect for us and hope to return next year to Blue Star with family members for my husbands 50th.

The loungers get filled up quickly and there would be room for more around the pool/terrace.

The staff are amazing, they made us feel like a part of their family. The room is cozy and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is not bad and the pool is always clean. I would surely recommend this Hotel to my friends.

The only issue is the very loud music everyday that start around 9 PM and lasts until 3 AM from the bar behind the hotel. It's really really loud so better get some earplugs if your ears are sensitive.
