I liked easy access to the beach & pool area. The staff was friendly & great.

It was not good that the water would not get hot at times. We had to keep asking for towels & washcloths because they were not given to us or they had run out. We didn't like not having a bathroom door. At one point my wife was in the shower when housekeeping came. The bathroom is right by door when you walk in. Since housekeepers have to leave the door open, the short shower curtain (substituted for the door), kept flying open. It was a very stressful experience. Also, we were under the impression that we'd be able to wash clothes. We found out the washer & dryer didn't work. We had gotten the drink package, there was a day when they were not replaced.

Resort was really nice, check in was smooth. We were greeted with RUM punch 😊, the pool area was nice and the DJ was live! The food was good for the most part and the drinks kept coming and they were strong!(depending on the bartender and your tip lol) The resort is in a prime location near all the souvenir ships, small restaurants and clubs. Very diverse... Beautiful people from all over the world, drinking, smoking and enjoying paradise!!!

No face towels...only hand towels and large dry off towels 🙄

The food was amazing. The staff were all well-mannered and helpful. Everyone made me feel welcomed.

The problem I’ve had was not being accommodated after not showing up for the first night which was paid for. I’ve had multiple flight delays coming from the Bahamas due to bad weather and I’ve tried reaching out to the property to explain this dilemma but to no avail. After my arrival this matter was not overlooked because of their policy so I had to pay for an extra night and taking a loss of not being refunded. Also the restaurant for dinner couldn’t fit me in on both nights I stayed there 😢 Not a great experience for a first time trip.

1. close to airport 2. all areas were clean 3. great food, wide variety 4. all areas, including the room and dining area were spacious and very open 5. nice music, music mixes 6. nice entertainment 7. secure, safe 8. available water sports 9. friendly staff 10. catered to needs 11. poolside bar 12. beautiful beach and ocean water 13. lots of shaded areas

1. bathroom was poorly made, shower allowed water to spill into floor 2. front desk person was not friendly 3. no available person after hours, was not able to have someone address a loud argument from other guests 4. scheduled activities not adhered to 50% of the time

The facilities was clean the rooms were comfortable, I enjoyed the aqua exercise Wide range of fruit, friendly staff,

The food didn't have much flavor it was bland, no authentic flavors The menu need to represent the country for example callaloo, Ackee, dumplings the which are traditional dishes Also at least one vegan dish per day for dinner I thought the dinner staff could have been a little more flexible in terms of large families sitting together, by joining two large tables. the reason for the holiday is to spend time with members of our family that we don't see often. one of our bathroom did have a door on it so we were not able to use the toilet in private. we reported it to staff who promise to address the issue, however, this wasn't done before we left.

Property was clean and well kept inluding the rooms. Can i say everything in the room was functional and I was amazed that room service came up midday to have the rooms cleaned by routine. There was a coffee bar not far from our room where we could get tea etc and several beaches were on the property so we had options. The Mediterranian Restaurant had awesome food and we received a bottle of champange and birthday cheers from the staff for my birthday.

The servers at the snack grill were very bitter. Unfortunately we had to sit and wait to be served at the grill and it was a long wait. The chef was cool though. we went there midnight because we were starving and though the employees tried to send us away hungry the Chef told us he would stay behind and make us something.

property is perfect! location is golden! beach is beautiful and restaurants had the most delicious food. everyone in the hotel was so friendly, especially our guy who we booked our excursions with. front desk in the morning helped us with accommodation with COVID test after the person who checked us in gave as wrong informations. thank you so much for that!! the property has perfect ocean views. entertainment was awesome, had a perfect view every night

the front desk had inaccurate information upon our check in. she seemed like she just wanted to do the very least. we had questions about COVID testing and all she said was to come back 1 day prior at the front desk as they do the COVID test there all day. then 1 day prior to our check out, come to find out the nurse is only there from 11a-2pm to do COVID test. thank god, the front desk lady in the am made some calls and got us to test on the hotel next door. the problem was that we had an excursion booked for 1030. anyways, all well ends well.

The location! location location!Staff does a great job with keeping the facility clean and keeping sea free of sea grass/ weeds so that the vacationers can swim!!And u are able 2 swim in the sea without issues(like sea grass or seaweed) great location!!So much room in the sea 2 swim Laps !!! And ❤️ how every room will give u Sea view! And everywhere u wanna go is right outside the location, don't have 2 travel far to enjoy montego bay off the resort if u desire. MOST of the staff was very kind. Will come back again. The buffet was pretty good a few dishes could have been taste tested 1st before putting it on the buffet selection. Absolutely adored the layout of the location! And kayaking was very fun and staff was very knowledgeable and helpful!! WALKin shower had plenty of heat to the water and an amazing balcony view of sea and resort! The staff was EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING SATURDAY NIGHT THE dance moves and stunts super entertainment!!!! I didn't know my son could 🌙 moon walk so I thank you Entertainment Staff MUCH LOVE ❤️ ♥️ 💓 ❤️ !!! my son kept them moves secret from me lol 😆!!! I wanna come back but yall are all BOOKED UP IN 2024!!! March- may 2024 😔... let's see if rest of year is open 4 me! This Resort is a HIDDEN GEM 💎 ✨️ 😍 💪🏾!!!

Just one person was a little rude at one of your specialty restaurants so myself and family just continued 2 eat breakfast/lunch/dinner at buffet restaurant.(AGAIN : Some of the dishes as i listed above could use some work but majority of the food was good).. Won't stop us from returning though. Just didn't understand why so rude upon 1st encounter at the specialty restaurant just cause I mispronounced a word or if I worded something incorrectly, ir the person didnt like the word i used. Wow so sensitive over a word i used? I didnt understand that one right there because i didnt curse or say anything derogatory 😔 but moving on : overall most of the staff was very sweet and helpful! Again I adore the 🌊 at Royal decameron Cornwall beach, couldn't stay out of the water lol 😆.

I liked everything about the property. it was clean, luxurious, beautiful setting, good food and allot of helpful snd very friendly staff.

some staff were very rude and unfriendly, especially one of the lady receptionist. some staff were unhelpful and only accommodated guests who would pay them. I didn’t like that they ran out of food on a couple of occasions. They also kept running out of red wine and dry Martini. I paid for all inclusive. they wouldn’t even leave a bottle on our table. no alcohol in the room mini bar. I’ve never had this kind of service before in an all inclusive 4 star hotel. I also had to leave a day earlier than expected to visit a sick relative. I was not offered a refund for early checkout.

I enjoyed the beach, it was clean, the snack bar serves the best burgers and fried wings. I also liked that the hotel was located near local stores and craft market to go shopping and mingle with people of the land. I also appreciated the warm and good vibes some of the staff expressed as they served. This made my stay at Royal Decameron Montego Bay worth while, so much so I extended my stay 2more nights.🤩👍.

That the bathroom in my room didn't have a door for more privacy. Bathroom in main lobby near buffet restaurant regularly had a malodorous smell.
