This place is a real gem. Highly recommend. Great location-5mins from the motorway. Lovely town by the river with nice restaurants and bars within mins walk. Colin and Shane are really nice people and fabulous hosts. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Our room was stunning, very tastefully decorated, as is the whole house, which is also absolutely spotlessly clean. Attention to detail was excellent. Everything you need for a great stay. The beds were also extremely comfortable. Breakfast was superb as was the presentation! All fresh produce and plenty of it! Our no1 place to stay when we are next in the area. Perfect!

Nothing to dislike at all about our stay.

We simply adored No.12! In fact, we're keen to organise our next trip to France to include a stop in Mansle, just so we can visit again. Colin and Shane were absolutely wonderful, so kind and such interesting people! You can see how much care they have taken to make No.12 a comfortable and frankly bougie place to stay. We were so impressed with the interior design and it really felt like everything had been hand-selected to curate the exact vibe they wanted to present, which was nothing short of calm luxury. The carafe of red wine was a particularly nice touch after a long car journey and the incense burning upon our arrival made us instantly relaxed. Everything was spotless and the breakfast was superb. Truly, hats off to you both for being fabulous hosts and for creating a gorgeous B&B! We could not recommend No.12 enough.

This is a hidden gem! A fantastic property tucked away behind the mairie just off main street. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The King sized bed, with luxurious linens, tempted us to linger a bit longer but we would have missed a wonderful breakfast served at the table in the kitchen. Buttery soft bathrobes, tea kettle with full sized ceramic mugs, chocolate caramel candies, a carafe of wine! So many details made this such an enjoyable experience. Walking distance to a grocery, pharmacy, several restaurants and even a wine cave. Colin & Shane have created a tranquil space for a lovely night’s stay, or if you’re lucky, even longer! We will happily visit again.

The breakfast was well-presented. It looked appetising and was the healthy option for a fry-up, which few people like anymore. Fresh orange juice and freshly made cups of coffee accompanied by fresh fruits, yoghurt, toast and croissants.

As this was a bed and breakfast venue, the only problem was finding a good eatery in the town that matched the excellence of the guest house. However travel slightly further afield and there are several excellent restaurants in the greater vicinity.

An old riverside house in a small town brought to life by the amazing design vision of its owners. Individual and quirky (in a good way), the accommodation is also very comfortable with modern plumbing, heating and lighting and the room sizes are very generous. The hosts are very hospitable and serve a delicious breakfast which can be taken in their lovely garden in the summer months. This is a place that will linger in your memory.

Some fresh milk in the room would have been nice - being really picky here!

It was Beautiful So welcoming Just perfect loved the stay there The hosts Steve and Shane made you feel so at ease The Breakfast is one of the Best we have ever had on our trips The cleanliness could not be beaten Even the Aroma when you walk through the door makes you want to smile I very rarely do a review mainly because I forget but could not make a review on this place Only wish it was closer to our destination or I would have stayed longer x

That we could not stay longer

The property was very quirky with lots of character, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and loads of it. Near the village which has three eateries, lunch at chez on main street was really tasty, pity it does not do much at night, only platter but that would be good I am sure

My only problem was getting up and down stairs with suitcase as it was narrow and the handle bar did not have space to grip very easily but luckily my husband was there and helped me up

We are repeat guests and our experiences never disappoint. This gem is a halfway point for our travels so we will stay here every time we are traveling through. The facilities are top notch, the owners are amazing and it is so easy to access the entire village on foot for shopping or dinner. I’m telling everyone I know to book a room early before they are taken because this is one hot property. Thanks again Shane & Colin for a 10+ star stay!!

Perfect hosts from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. The room was charming and the property has been lovingly restored and it shows. Breakfast was fab and plenty of it. Easy access to the small town with a couple of nice restaurants and bars.

Amazing room!

We missed the second day breakfast because at 7.30 the door still wasnt open even though breakfast started at 7.30 according to the owner. At 7.50 we left after knocking on the door without answer… We then left the hotel without saying bye or checking out just leaving the keys because nobody was to be found… shame . I recommend making sure gets can get thwir breakfast on time. On the second day, though my room was cleaned , i did not get a fresh towel to shower…
