Only intended to stay1 night but the comfort and beauty of the hotel kept us here for a second. Hammas the owner told us he wanted to offer more than a place to sleep. .a homelike environment for people to enjoy. He definitely succeeded. The breakfast options were delicious as well. The whole hotel is very clean and unique. We hope to return again.

Nothing...everything exceeded all expectations!

This was my second stay at Riesenbeck and this is my favourite hotel in the region. Progressive, modern, yet homelike and cozy. Spacious rooms, modern and tasteful interior and decor. Very comfortable beds and quiet, even though I had a room facing the street. The staff remembers you and a friendly Good Morning after a good night's sleep just gives you that positive feeling of appreciation. The breakfast buffet is diverse and offers delights to every taste. If you like eggs you will get the choice of fried or scrambled prepared freshly for you. Will recommend to everyone who is seeking accommodation in the Teutoburger Wald Region.

Great Hotel, a new concept of hosting.A kitchen, full equiped to be used by guests, a very nice breakfast, flexible hours allowing the guests to rest, friendly team. A anytime self service bar. Couldn´t have been better the stay in Riesenbeck.

Liked everything.

I loved the hospitality from Hannes and how he invests himself in the property with love and care. All the design and all the wonderful details are his piece of art. The property is high tech organized but also has a feeling of "home away from home". All the complimentary tea and coffee options also make you warm & cozy. Yummy breakfast is prepared by Hannes's wife who will greet you with a smile and will make sure you enjoy every minute of it. The location is excellent, the outdoor terrace with barbecue is perfect social platform for enjoying nice weather and meeting new people from all over the world, there is sufficient free and safe parking place, while the wi fi quality is superb. What more could one ask for :)

There was nothing I did not like.

We were passing through and had to do a late check-in which was easy because the entrance door to the hotel and the room could be openend by a pin-code. The entire hotel (incl room) looks nice and clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was awesome, lots to choose from and everything was fresh. Staff was very nice and helpfull (English speaking staff).

Ok, first of all I must mention that the hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovation works, so I was a bit sceptic when I arrived but all my second thoughts were washed away when I met the staff and were shown around. The parts that have already been done are impressive, so is the breakfast room, more a homy lounge than your usual restaurant type. Angela the hotel manager and Hannes the owner made sure I was looked after during my stay. The room I had was very spacious with a big comfy kingsize bed and I even had a balcony. Best WiFi connection I've ever had in a hotel. I look forward to staying at Riesenbeck again should my travel take me near Hörstel.

Ok, there is the question of timing, so I arrived at a time when the hotel is having extensive renovation works done, in addition to that the road infront of the hotel was being resurfaced but that's really out of anyone's power, so in essence I do not have anything to complain about.

Hannes and the team couldn’t do enough for me. They really do make every effort to welcome and give the very best possible experience to guests. So many great little touches included free tea and coffee, low cost snacks and soup, not to mention the excellent choice of local beers. The access was all by code with no physical key, and the 600Mb/s broadband gave fantastic WiFi signal of 194Mb/s. I arrived early (4pm) and was treated to personal welcome and a full tour. The ambitious re-development and ongoing expansion did mean some building noise during the day, but the hotel looks set to be even better when everything is complete.

The only thing I couldn’t do was freeze an ice pack. This is because all their food is prepared from fresh ingredients and they have no freezer.

The property was clean, fresh, well-appointed and comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about the property and the proprietor.

The only reason I did not give this property a perfect score is that I did not realize the hotel trended toward the new self-service format instead of a traditional full service hotel. It was just unexpected to me, and a lesson to ensure that I look for this detail in the future.

Lovely hotel in a pretty town, close to church (hearing the church bells was wonderful). Caters to cyclists--which was so nice to see. Spacious beautiful room. Helpful staff. Secure bike storage.

Really nice place! Nice, clean and quite room. Very relaxing and quite place. Great brekfast. Nice outdoor space for chilling or for work. Drinks available 24/7. Restaurants nearby. Lot of entertainment available.
