It’s a lovely mountain lodge, with the best view of San Martin and the lake. The cabins are cute and cosy, with a patio overlooking the lake. The view is Wow, you can sit there for days! This is clearly the highlight of the property. The only downside was getting there. Since we didn’t have our own car, we had to struggle to find a taxi and the local taxis are very expensive for the short ride to town. Also the tea house is a limited menu, so we had to end up going down to the city for our meals. This wasn’t ideal. The tea house in itself is lovely and added to our stay experience and so did the little walking trail. The breakfast is a little basic, so there’s some scope for improvement.

The approach road is broken, so getting up there is a bit taxing.

I've rated this lodge a 10 not because it is perfect but because its positives so far outweigh the negatives. The setting is simply magnificent, stupendous, gorgeous... add as many superlatives as you like, you still can't do it justice. Then on top of that the staff is very friendly and helpful; the breakfast spread is delicious and generous; and the bed was Goldilocks perfect - neither too hard nor too soft. And we were delighted to learn that they even offer room service from the tea room.

There's no way to sugar coat it: the 15 minute drive up there on bone-jarring gravel is not something you want to repeat if you can help it. (But then the reward is the stunning view from the property.) There are aspects of the hard product that are run down and in need of improvement. But not enough that it should put you off.

The view from the room is outstanding, beautiful to watch the sunset from. Very comfortable room and the breakfast was excellent. Be sure to try some of the teas. Also, make sure you stick the directions you receive on the email from the accommodation prior to arriving. We just entered it in google maps (even though we had received the email, our error) and it took us way off on a really beaten-up road. We had to turn around at a certain moment remembering that we had been told there were two routes, and the hotel only recommends one.

The accommodation exceeded expectations. The view and the facilities are exceptional. Location could not be more perfect.

The staff from the tea house were very kind, but the same cannot be said for the people in charge of the breakfast. The treatment was borderline rude. Communication via WhatsApp was not good.

Beautiful view! Other reviews said it was hard to find, but they send you the route on google maps and there are signs along the way as it’s also a tea house. The short drive up from the town is definitely worth it! The tea house is open until 9pm, and you can order food from there to your room/terrace. Great shower pressure!

Amazing views from the hotel and very comfortable. It’s fairly rustic which doesn’t come across in the photos but this doesn’t impact the stay.

Very hot in the evenings with no way to improve the temperature. Not great value for money.

Amazing view, atmosphere, breakfast and Thea house. The staff of the Thea house was really lovely. Room is spacious and cosy. I would have loved to extend my stay there.

Breakfast starts at 8 but some items (eggs, fruits salad) are ready only later.

This hotel is a little piece of paradise. With only 4 rooms it's really small so it almost feels like a private space. The bed is really comfortable and large. The private patio is the perfect place to enjoy the view on the lake and relax.

The location was superb, likely the best view of the mountains and lakes surrounding San Martin de Los Andes.

A little removed, and can only be accessed by dirt road. However, with a rental car this can be accessed easily.
