The property is truly traditional Japanese. Tastefully renovated, the deco is simple and elegant. A small private garden is definitely a plus. It is located right on the “brown” belt indicated on the map-traditional houses along the way. Furthermore, the hotel manager and the cook are exceptionally accommodating and helpful.

All good except for the “balcony” described on the website is a “lost in translation” I think.

We loved our unique stay in this modern, renovated but traditional home. The furniture and appliances were all well maintained and we felt really comfortable. The location of this home in the town of Yame was very convenient as well, a lot of restaurants are near and the crafts museum and tea shops are a walking distance away. One of our highlights of Yame were the hosts of this home. All of them were really warm, sweet and helpful. We want to especially thank the young woman who helped us with our luggage. Her energetic, positive and smiley personality made our day and stay. Lastly we were very happy with the breakfast. The meal was light and refreshing. The ingredients are carefully sourced and the meal was thoughtfully explained.

I had magnificent breakfast prepared by Naomi with Yuki. The staff is very professional and supportive. The location was very conveniently in the centre of Yame with a lot of proposals for eating . The accommodation was very well designed and comfortable.

The staffs are great . Everything’s in this place are traditional and great with 100 years old renovated house .
