We travelled for work. The rooms we were given were clean, tidy and spacious. The beds were unbelievably comfortable specially after big day of working. Bathroom was large with a great shower head. Fridge was cold. Plenty of room to hang your clothes. We ate dinner at their restaurant. We can not compliment the chef and thank the staff enough for their outstanding serving and the T-bone steak..... YUM! Diane, pepper, and mushroom sauces..... YUM! Everything was cooked and made to perfection. Apollo Blinds Ipswich and Toowoomba will continue to use Chinchilla Great Western Motor Inn for future stays.

The gardens and lawns were well kept. The presentation of the property was quite lovely. The outdoor seating area was a really nice space. Great place to stop and drop for the night. Bed was very comfortable. General cleanliness was good. We found the staff were lovely and very welcoming.

Driveway really does need attention though I am sure the managers are well aware of this. Perhaps some finer detail to cleaning which people just passing through may not notice.

Well Set back from highway so no traffic noise. Modern bathroom Garden setting with small pool. Well maintained units only repairs needed are the driveways. Blocks of 6 units with car parking directly opposite door Patio on other side faces garden and pool. Outdoor patio setting. Value for money. Cheaper than the other motels.

Driveway could do with some repair of bitumen but does not impact on the stay

We had to make a quick overnight trip for my husband to check on a job in the area. The staff were lovely, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming to our little dog we brought with us. A chew and a comfy blanket was provided to her for our stay.

Easy to find and get into. And having a dog with us, the glass door in our room opening onto a large grassed area was much appreciated by our pup. It was also close to a service station and food services.

Dog friendly, fast response to messages, AC worked well. Left a dog blanket and biscuit which was lovely. Got a last minute deal so price was good.

After booking we had to answer questions about our dog and stressed about them canceling (they didn’t). Kitchen very basic and missing a spoon. Water tastes terrible but they did supply 2 bottles drinking water. TV wasn’t working properly (could have contacted managers but didn’t want to disturb them at night). Walls not soundproof as advertised. Restaurant was not operating on night we stayed like advertised.

The room was pet-friendly (we paid an additional $20 for the night to have our small older dog with us), and a treat and blanket was left for our pet which was a nice touch, along with the rules / expectations of the motel (which were quite reasonable). The bed / bedding was very comfortable, the room and bathroom were roomy, There were tub chairs in the room, which were comfortable, along with a small table and chairs. The microwave was also appreciated. We arrived after 6pm on a Sunday so our room key was left for us in the safe outside of reception, with the details text to me, which worked well. The motel is right near a service station and KFC. Parking was just outside the door.

As the motel is on the highway there is some road noise, but we still slept well.

Great parking - space for larger vehicles and those with trailers.

Roads to parking were terrible. I wish I was not in a room amongst "fluoro" workers, only because they all sat outside my sliding door drinking, talking, and laughing when I wanted to sleep after driving so long. I also wanted to go for a swim and didn't want to be gawked at when I left my room.

The bed was just beautiful. It was a King and very comfy, firm but soft, just like home. The area was back off the road. The room was quite spacious, and had outdoor table & chairs, looking onto a garden area.

Garden needs some work, a total revamp, its just been there a long time and needs some work, but the spaciousness was great!

Convenient for our purposes, set back from highway, little noise could be heard. Bed was large and comfortable. Nice pool, although maintenance needed tending, pavers coming up.

Curtains stand off sliding door, fit for privacy but not for block out function, whatsoever. Early wake up's! Minimum door security, key only no chain. Ground maintenance is much overdue sadly. Looks unloved and shabby.

Property is great, the hosts are very friendly. The rooms are a bit old school but the owners make sure it’s neat and tidy. We had our dog for this trip and he enjoyed a lot running around the garden. Holy recommended for families and pet owners
