The quirky, artistic decor and creative outfit makes the limited space of the place interesting and pleasant looking. The bathroom design is in some ways of a higher standard than the pleasant but simple outfit of the room and also has a large window which is a bonus! The gentleman running the place made an early check-in possible which was much appreciated after arriving from a very early morning flight. He also went out of his way to accommodate any special requests and is obviously very customer-first oriented. I would give him a 10 for his commitment to accommodating his guests! The hotel is only a short walking distance from the stairs that lead to the lower level of the area sloping down towards the lake. The lake is one of the highlights of Dalat and well worth a visit/ coffee/ meal, or walk.

Breakfast is minimal choice, Western style only which I had not paid attention to when booking and hence, mostly ended up having breakfast elsewhere but still enjoyed the fresh Vietnamese coffee in the mornings. The immediate area around the The Note Dalat, while not far from some main attractions such as the lake, is in itself not particularly attractive, making the hotel a bit of an oasis in aesthetics against the backdrop of a less than attractive neighbourhod. Restaurant choices in this area are mostly of the very simple type, adequate to eat but not really to enjoy the ambience.

As soon as we arrived in the lobby, we felt the warm ambience created by the architectural features of the weathered steel stairway, terrazzo curved wall, and patterned floor. Our room with a balcony was comfortable, and the vases of fresh Gerbera flowers and aroma of spicy essential oils were a special touch. Location was ideal - just a five minute walk downhill to the Night Markets and Xuan Huong Lake. Enjoyed our conversations with Khanh, who was always very helpful and along with all other staff courteous and friendly. We were very happy we chose The Note for our stay in Da Lat.

Absolutely everything was PERFECT. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The room itself was immaculate, clean and so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. They even allowed a late check out to accommodate for a late flight as well as storing bags. The location is magic. Tucked away in a quiet little pocket but only minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Da Lat. Night markets 5min walk away as is the lake. Many terrific coffee shops and restaurants very close by. Breakfast is simple, two choices of which I tried both. Toast or waffles. Great for energising you for a day of activity and exploring the area! Excellent wifi. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. 11/10. A million stars. I'll be back!

Spacious rooms with enough space for a chair and bench. Key feature which made the stay most enjoyable was the man at reception (Khanh). His exceptional service, with great suggestions for local places to eat made the stay much more rewarding. The lady at breakfast was also very kind and gentle. Hotel is well situated with most places to see/experience within 10-15 mins walk. Easy to get around once the shortcut alleyways are discovered.

Minor - long wait to run water for hot shower.

The male receptionist was fantastic. He was genuinely so kind and always jumping to help us, even insisting on carrying the bags to and from the elevator every time. The room was gorgeous as well and we loved all the little details like how amazing it smelled and the cinnamon sticks and pine cones. The bathroom was lovely as well. Everything looked like the photos and they also let us store our bags for the entire day after we checked out. This is such good service and value for money.

Look no further!! Wonderful hotel. Lovely garden at front, hotel has such a welcoming and calming vibe with beautiful smelling star anise and cinnamon sticks and pine cones in bowls. Lovely and cleverly designed building with huge front door and stairs in bronze metal. Tasteful and chic but not expensive. Extreme friendly helpful staff and delicious breakfasts served downstairs or in bed room. We had early access to room which was much appreciated. Spacious toom and bathroom . So glad we found and highly recommended.

The staff here went above and beyond to accommodate us. We originally booked only one room but decided to add on another room once we arrived. Luckily they were able to get us into one right away. I loved the breakfast here: the waffles with fruit were so delicious, we looked forward to them every morning! We checked out at noon but our flight wasn't until the evening, they held onto our luggage while we went out to explore the city one last time. Anytime we were in the lobby we were offered artichoke tea which was also excellent.

This personally wasn't a problem for me but to get to the hotel you have to walk uphill which might be an issue for guests with mobility issues. Calling a taxi is easy and relatively cheap so I wouldn't say this is too big of an obstacle if you want to stay here!

Quirky little hotel , close to every thing, very good staff, any questions about tours or sites to visit easily answered. Breakfast good each morning either downstairs in foyer area V8 or in room at your given time. value for money, and on checking out was given a small gift of a tote bag as a thank you for staying with them. Will stay again

Good position, priced well. We couldn't fault the staff, they were very helpful and welcoming. Came back from a full day exploring, and they would give you a cool drink. Even cakes one day. Thank you for a great stay. 😀

No leisure area to sit and relax, perhaps they should use the top floor as the breakfast room and lounge. The noise from the adjoining hotels was annoying, very early morning and late at night. Double glazed windows might have helped.

Great accommodation within the center of Dalat. Very close to the night market and the lake. I loved the interior design and concept of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and lovely, they gave me a nicely designed shopping bag as a present after checking me out. Also you can borrow an umbrella at the lobby, which was very nice considering that it's raining very often in Dalat.

There's no soundproofing in the rooms, so sometimes it's pretty noisy. You better get a pair of earplugs before staying here. Also breakfasts were too "light" for me, I prefer to get more proteins in the morning, so expanding the breakfast menu would be wonderful.
