Comfortable rooms and good location

No complementary breakfast. They charged us usd 200 as security and didn’t give us any receipt. Despite no balance, they did not return the money- no communication regarding that

The room was absolutely sensational. We had views of the empire state building and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is very central. We were able to walk all over Manhattan and the subway is also walk able. We had our own car and free street parking at night time was actually pretty easy to find around the hotel. There is also an underground garage right across the street from the hotel which we used during the day when we couldn't find parking for about $15 and hour. There is also a roof top bar that has views of Manhattan and the Empire State Building. We will stay here again definitely.

Very spacious rooms, amazing staff, a super cool rooftop bar/restaurant, and a nice view of the Empire State Building! They offer two free snacks per day, which is very convenient because, for example, you can get two bottles of water.

They use motion sensors to save energy, so the AC is not actually cooling when you leave the room. There is a sign next to the thermostat that explains this. They say that when you enter the room, the AC will cool the temperature down to the last setting within 15 minutes. So basically, if you set the thermostat to a certain temperature, when you come back, it likely won't be at that temperature; it will be higher. Also, the computers they have in the lobby are so old that they can't open modern websites.

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of a lot of activities of interest and you can hop on the subway at Grand Central Station, just blocks away. It's a great value for the price and is a clean, welcoming place to return to after a day filled with sight seeing. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There is also a fridge and microwave in the kitchenette for those leftovers and coffee in the morning.

The only thing that annoyed me was people letting their door slam closed and excessive noise near the elevators.

Amazing location in Murray Hill. We were upgraded to the Penthouse apartment, which was HUGE and had a balcony w an Empire State Building view! Also had Chrysler building views from one of the bedrooms! Such a great stay. The new restaurant on the ground floor is very stylish and welcoming, the staff could not have been more friendly!

The welcome. I hadn't visited New York before and having spent most of the day travelling by plane, trains and foot, I was both tired and nervous on arrival at the hotel. But the warm and friendly greeting from Luis at the reception made me feel relaxed and at home immediately. Offering suggestions to tourists on places to eat and visit is doubtless part of the job, but he did it with genuine interest on what my preferences were, and his advice was extremely helpful. The room was great, and I couldn't believe, on raising the blind, that I got a great view of the Empire State Building. And then I was looking at it again a little later as I ate an excellent Waldorf salad at the hotel's rooftop bar, and sipped a Manhattan cocktail (what else?). The location is ideal - less than 10 minute walk from the nearest subway station (Grand Central/42nd Street), and in easy distance from the places you want to visit.

From checking in with the friendly, knowledgeable staff to the time we left, we have had such a lovely, positive experience with this hotel. All staff were always on hand if we needed them. Comfortable rooms. It was great having a small kitchenette with a fridge. Location in the city is perfect.We had a week of pure comfort staying here.

The reception for cable TV channels was quite poor at times. Room was dusty in some places- i.e. under bathroom sink, the top corners of rooms or the window frame although this did not affect our stay at all.

It was a great location and had a beautiful rooftop. Nice amenities and rooms too.

The elevator was very slow.

The room was spacy and very nice. The cleaning was perfect. AC worked properly and you can even turn it on with an open window and it would not switch off when you are away. The location is also very good - if you need groceries, you have a Trader Joe's 15 minutes away. The cafe downstairs is nice.

If you open the windows at night it is very noisy. Besides, they had some construction works starting at 8 a.m. during weekends... They charged me a security deposit not once or even twice, but three times!!! I had two consecutive bookings with them and paid cash at the beginning of my stay and $200 as a security deposit with my card. Some days later I received a notification from my bank that I am charged again, $400 this time. They even tried to charge me for the second part of my stay and could not do it only because I did not have the money on my account. Of course, they apologized for the mistake but my 600$ were blocked by the bank for another week as they could not do anything about it.

It was in a great location, always clean, super modern, great views (even from the 7th floor), great staff, and great amenities (gym, rooftop bar, bistro that they shot Devil Wears Prada at- missed Anne Hathaway by a few hours 😭). They are incredibly dog friendly and made us feel super comfortable bringing our dog, she was spoiled! We stayed as a group and booked three rooms and they were able to ensure we were all together on the same floor and same section. The staff was super accommodating, always quick to respond, and made our stay for a special occasion so much better!

The elevator was out of service a couple times so wait times got a little longer than usual but nothing too bad. Rooftop bar/restaurant was a bit overpriced but that’s not necessarily the hotel’s fault.
