Comfortable rooms and good location

No complementary breakfast. They charged us usd 200 as security and didn’t give us any receipt. Despite no balance, they did not return the money- no communication regarding that

Very spacious rooms, amazing staff, a super cool rooftop bar/restaurant, and a nice view of the Empire State Building! They offer two free snacks per day, which is very convenient because, for example, you can get two bottles of water.

They use motion sensors to save energy, so the AC is not actually cooling when you leave the room. There is a sign next to the thermostat that explains this. They say that when you enter the room, the AC will cool the temperature down to the last setting within 15 minutes. So basically, if you set the thermostat to a certain temperature, when you come back, it likely won't be at that temperature; it will be higher. Also, the computers they have in the lobby are so old that they can't open modern websites.

Amazing location in Murray Hill. We were upgraded to the Penthouse apartment, which was HUGE and had a balcony w an Empire State Building view! Also had Chrysler building views from one of the bedrooms! Such a great stay. The new restaurant on the ground floor is very stylish and welcoming, the staff could not have been more friendly!

The welcome. I hadn't visited New York before and having spent most of the day travelling by plane, trains and foot, I was both tired and nervous on arrival at the hotel. But the warm and friendly greeting from Luis at the reception made me feel relaxed and at home immediately. Offering suggestions to tourists on places to eat and visit is doubtless part of the job, but he did it with genuine interest on what my preferences were, and his advice was extremely helpful. The room was great, and I couldn't believe, on raising the blind, that I got a great view of the Empire State Building. And then I was looking at it again a little later as I ate an excellent Waldorf salad at the hotel's rooftop bar, and sipped a Manhattan cocktail (what else?). The location is ideal - less than 10 minute walk from the nearest subway station (Grand Central/42nd Street), and in easy distance from the places you want to visit.

The room was spacy and very nice. The cleaning was perfect. AC worked properly and you can even turn it on with an open window and it would not switch off when you are away. The location is also very good - if you need groceries, you have a Trader Joe's 15 minutes away. The cafe downstairs is nice.

If you open the windows at night it is very noisy. Besides, they had some construction works starting at 8 a.m. during weekends... They charged me a security deposit not once or even twice, but three times!!! I had two consecutive bookings with them and paid cash at the beginning of my stay and $200 as a security deposit with my card. Some days later I received a notification from my bank that I am charged again, $400 this time. They even tried to charge me for the second part of my stay and could not do it only because I did not have the money on my account. Of course, they apologized for the mistake but my 600$ were blocked by the bank for another week as they could not do anything about it.

Nice staff and location. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall good value for money - they even gave us a slight upgrade without us asking.

The room was a bit dated, but overall very good. The wait for the elevators was relatively long, though the beautiful rooftop view might explain the demand. The closest subway station was Grand Central. While it’s a beautiful spot, by Manhattan standards it was a bit of a walk. That said, all the shops you might need are within a 5-minute walk. These minor points are the only reason I rated it "very good" instead of "excellent." I would rate them 8.5+ if that was an option

Location was great, just a small walk to Grand Central Station, Deli nearby. It was very handy to have the microwave and small coffee machine to give us boiling water. There were no utensils or containers to cook with etc just the microwave so take your own if you are wanting to make any meals. We purchased some noodle packets to simply boil in the microwave and we heated our left overs. The beds were super comfy and warm. We were on level 2 but despite this we could barely hear the traffic as it appeared the windows were double glazed. Staff were super nice and helpful. There is a restaurant upstairs and also one right next door. The area was safe.

Location is brilliant, just down from Grand Central Station and in a pleasant neighbourhood with restaurants, cafes and bars. Within walking distance of Times Square and Broadway, Union Square. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Room was extremely comfortable. Would stay again

A little shabby in places but didn't spoil our experience in any way.

When we arrived Stephanie at the front desk was amazing. She gave us a upgrade as we told her it was our moms 70th birthday! She wad so kind. Our room had a magnificent view of the Empire state building that never got old. The 2 door men on Friday and Saturday night of Nov 8th and 9th were amazing (Jean and David I think). Bathroom was a little dated but king bed was super comfotable. Also hotel was super close to grand central so made it easy to get around. But in general to take Ubers to other destinations was decently priced as well (for NY prices). Overall great stay and would definitely recommend. Also the rooftop restaurant was absoutley delicious and the view was one of the best we went to in NYC!!!!

The welcome by the reception team was great, especially by Ugur bey. The one bedroom apartment was spacious and just the right set up for our family. The incredible terrace bar was a pleasant surprise. Location was super central and we would definetely stay again in the future. Lovely neighborhood Murray Hill The bed was king size and super comfy.

Cleaning and maintenance could be better. They left a dirty sheet in the futon, drawers not cleaned. Easy repair jobs not done, shampoo dispenser not working and stayed like this for 4 days! No utensils in the kitchen, not even a single knife, you are supposed to use disposables, I can not believe a hotel can let this unsustainable practice openly.. Downstairs resto take care is overpriced with small portions. The futon was small and uncomfortable
