The young lady on reception was so helpful. We arrived on bicycles, fully loaded with 6 bags on each bike. We left the bikes on the ground floor and started to carry the bags up, she not only insisted on helping us but she found us a lower room. Then she sorted out moving our bags on by taxi to our next destination. She was amazing. And the place, Julich, was lovely.

For obvious reasons, because of the age of the building, there is no lift. They do make sure you are aware of this before you arrive.

- perfect location in city centre - the staff was very friendly and helpful - the room was cosy with a large bathroom

- there was no air conditioning in the room, only a fan that was quite noisy so it was not possible to keep it on at night, not ideal for hot summer days - the breakfast had many options, however it would be nice to have a few more vegan options as well (e.g plant milk or yogurt as alternative to dairy products...)

Great location for Julich. The room is clean and tidy and you get some Haribo sweets too. WiFi is reliable and also got it when outside the building too. Staff were super helpful and helped with things that I had forgotten too!

Pillow was not so good. But then heard that most hotels in the vicinity also have similar (non-existent) pillows. Room was incredibly hot too. Had a fan but no A/C.

Very nice breakfast

The hole place is a bit 'tired', in a 1960s way. But then this comment is actually a bit unfair, because, for what it is, they keep it absolutely spotless. Just don't expect the Grand Hyatt. Having said that, I personally would prefer these small old places any time.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, big choice of food and drinks. The rooms are nicely decorated. Good location. Great Asian restaurant across the street.

My room was „loud“ due to a constant electric noise/currant from the hallway. Other than that it was fine (no traffic noise).

Delicious breakfast, and quiet and clean room. Lovely staff, especially in the kitchen. Special thanks to the lady from the restaurant around the corner for helping me when I arrived late and reception was already closed.

Breakfast could have been better. A disappointing lack of croissants :p

The whole grain bread at breakfast was really great as well as the plain yoghurt (I did not have the flavoured ones). T
