Right on the sea front was ideal for our needs. The room was small but perfectly suited to our requirements. Staff were helpful, informative and friendly. Room was well equipped with tea/ coffee making but needs to be put in information as we carried our own unnecessarily.

3 flights of stairs were a slight drawback following a hip replacement fairly recently. No assistance was offered with luggage. The reception area lets the whole hotel down. The hotel has had a recent renovation and was very well done to an excellent appearance. The carpet in reception was worn through and very tatty and did not portray the smartness of the rest of the hotel. As the first place you come to on arrival it gave a very incorrect image of the establishment.

the guesthouse/restaurant is a cosy building right on the seafront of Cancale and it embodies its charme: restaurant colese at 10-ish so no fuss from patrons after that time we were lucky enough to be accomodated in the "Libertè" room, a duplex unit very comfortbale for a family of 4, with large shower, separate toilet, a tiny living room a bedroom with very large bed and fantastic upper level with two single beds. Off street parking available and very quiet all night even though we stayed there in full summer season definetly exceeded our expectations

The hotel is situated on a quiet seafront. Our room had a great sea view. Beds were comfortable. The room was a good size.

This is a niggle, We arrived with two bikes. The staff showed us the bike storage, in a quiet backstreet. There was no lock on the gate, and though there was a bike shed, it was not secured. We could use our bike locks there, however. Given the popularity of cycling and the amazing location of the hotel, securing the bike shed would seem like a good idea.

Location and value for money for accommodation that was clean and in good order. The food was of a good quality.

My meal was sadly disappointing as the crab had been in the keep tank too long and was of a poor quality. I brought it to the attention of the waitress, she took it away and that was the end of that meal, no offer of an alternative meal nor was it deducted off the bill. I didn’t have the energy to make a fuss so I had a meal elsewhere later.

Friendly and helpful staff, seafront location, sea view room, bathroom, great sea food restaurant ( best to book ), the town itself ( we arrived on a chilly Sunday in late December and could not believe how busy it was or the large number of packed restaurants and bars).

Nothing really but beware parking can be a problem. There are large car parks but we were so lucky to grab the one available space in the car park across the road from the hotel.

Great room - though the furniture was a bit knackered... superb view out over the bay... all a bit basic but clean and comfortable so no complaints at all...

the parking is over the road and can get a bit busy... bear in mind it is over a bar, though the noise didn't bother us, the food was OK but not wowee brilliant, but nothing to complain about... we'd stay again.

All staff friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and food was excellent. Lovely seafood platter. Breakfast good too. Room good, although no sea view but we knew that before we arrived. Spacious and very clean. Well equipped with minibar (although we didn't use) bathroom extras included bath robes. Paid extra for private parking (off site) felt it was worth it as it is a busy tourist area with lots of vehicles coming and going.

Nothing all facilities met or exceeded our expectations.

Lovely big room with a fabulous view across the Cancale bay. Very clean, a large comfortable bed with crisp linen sheets. Nice bathroom with heated towel rail, soft white towels and bathrobes.

Only a small inconvenience was the parking which the property said could be reserved in advance for € 10 per day, which I did on booking. When asking where the parking was situated I was told “there is parking outside hotel on the road and several car parks nearby”. We arrived and found a space nearby, called at the Hotel to ask where our reserved space was but was told very abruptly by Proprietor “you can’t book in until 3.30 and there is no parking”. We just left car in car park for the whole day and was pleasantly surprised it only cost approx £15.

Room was clean and stylish. Restaurant food was excellent. Location was perfect!!!!!

Parking, although my search was for a hotel with parking, I wasn’t able to park at the hotel and was asked to use the free parking which was a ‘five minute’ walk away. Walk - no, drive -yes. However the paid parking on the sea front, directly opposite the hotel, was inexpensive so we moved the car (in pouring rain) and paid to park.

We stayed here 20 years ago and it’s still as lovely as when we first stayed here. A quaint hotel with a great restaurant below. The suite was clean and comfortable and had a nice sitting area, and windows with views over the bay. Staff were great too. Dinner was delicious and servings are very generous even when it says for 1. Good seafood. Parking opposite the hotel was easy and it’s an easy stroll to shops, cafes and restaurants.
