We had a great stay at Vakara Hotel in Kep, the staff provided an excellent service with a warm hospitality. Congratulations to the management of the hotel. The reception offered us a room upgrade, all the hotel facilities were clean, the breakfast was plentiful, the food and cocktails were excellent. Gym equipment was new and of good quality, there were saunas et steam rooms for both men and women. The swimming pool was very big too ! All the staff members we interacted with were very friendly and very caring, they made our stay even better. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I liked everything.

Large spacious and immaculate family room and shower room/walk through closet. Lovely space for kids - playground, grass to run on, huge pool (although it was very cold). Decent breakfast buffet, lots of Asian options but also the usual: fruit, cereal, toast, eggs etc. staff were friendly and helpful.

The balcony bars were like a ladder so not safe for little children at all (we kept the balcony doors closed all the time).

I had booked for two days but then stayed for two weeks! This hotel is definately the best I ever stayed in Cambodia. ( Ever since 1998 I came to Cambodia every year.) The very clean rooms are big with a very big desk and to call the wifi very good would be an understatement: It is absolutely excellent! All the rooms have balkonies, so you can open the door to get fresh air and don`t necessairily need the aircon. When you chose a room facing the pool, you have a look that reminds you of paradise. A most wonderful garden with mountains behind and a pagoda on the far right on one of the hills will enchant you. Breakfast is good. All people working at Vakara Hotel are super friendly and accommodating. I mainly remember the manager Mr. Sock and Mr. Hobb at the reception. Kep itself is a beautiful jewel of tranquility. I came with my own driver, but the hotel can organise a tuktuk to get you to the beach, the crab market, restaurants etc.

It's a new hotel, fully operated in Jan 2022 so the room felt fresh and clean. We got room 405 (family room). The pillows and couch were comfortable. The fridge was cool. The pool water was refreshing and the staffs were friendly and spoke English quite well. The breakfast was not too bad but could be better. The variety was quite nice. My tod loved the playground!

The drainage in the shower did not work well. The water could not go out properly. It was quite unexpected from a new hotel that's just open for several months. Either there's a blockage or the drain pipe was too small. The bedsheet was a bit itchy and a bit hot. Not because of the hygiene reason but the material choice. And I wonder why the room cleaners only replaced only 2 towels and 2 bottles of water everytime while it was a room of 4?

Hotel had perfect facilities and good staff. Swimming pool was a good size. Breakfast was delicious-set menu (should probably ask if we wanted all items,bread went to waste twice)

Impossible to get tuc tuc after 9pm in kep, night receptionist kindly collected us when we got stranded. Checked our rooms before check out(luckily as we had taken an extra coke from the mini bar)

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was amazing, didn't eat or need lunch the whole time I was there. I stayed in a Pool/ Mountain view room. Great view from the balcony. The gym was great and being a new hotel the equipment was all in new condition. The bed was a bit hard for my liking but that seems to be the norm in Cambodia. The hotel is about 1km from main road but Kep is so spread out you really need transport to get around anyway. I hired a scooter through the hotel for $8 a day with no hassles. The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful.

the location was perfect! close to everything in Kep and also tucked back enough to be away from any noise!
