We loved everything about our stay here. We booked for 4 nights and ended up staying for 6 (and it was still hard to leave). It really is a little "haven of peace". Rooms were a great size with really comfortable beds, and the balcony was large too with a lounger, table and chairs. We spent a lot of time in and beside the beautiful pool. A lovely temperature, salt water, and very clean. The food was great (we ate there a lot if we didn't feel like leaving). Srey Kuhn is an excellent cook, and one of the sweetest people we've ever met. Thanks Lionel for your excellent hospitality... we can't wait to be back!

The owner of Tara Lodge was exceptionally helpful and very friendly. He gave us many recommendations of things to do and places to eat in Kep and organised our onward travel arrangements as well as making dinner reservations for us. Tara Lodge has beautiful gardens and pool area and it was lovely to be able to sit and enjoy them. We had massages in the garden which were very good. We also ate breakfast next to the pool - which started with fresh fruit and lovely juices. The bedroom is big with a nice outdoor seating area and sunlounger - lovely place to relax. From Tara Lodge we were able to take a 10 minute walk down for a drink to watch the sunset and then another 10 min walk to Crab Market which was great and definitely something worth going to. We had a relaxed stay at Tara Lodge and we enjoyed our short visit to Kep.

The bathroom could do with updating - just didn't feel that clean and there was a bit of an unpleasant smell.

TARA Lodge is located close to the crab market and restaurants (15-20 minute walk). The lodge is very serene and calm with lots of green plants. The room is spacious and equipped with hot water and air conditioning. The hotel manager Marie was really nice and explained everything to me. In general the whole staff was very welcoming and kind. There were several breakfast options. I really enjoyed the French toast breakfast. Stay here if you‘re going to visit Kep!

The hotel is well located and surrounded by nature. We found it very cosy and with a nice vibe - the swimming pool is great at all times of the day. The owner Lionel and the manager Marie are extremely kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. They offer laundry service at a fair price and also rental of scooters. Good breakfast.

Western dishes (croque monsieur & ceasar salad) at lunch were not very good and a bit overpriced.

Beautiful pool and garden, nice room with lots of space and a lovely balcony. Nice furniture.

Very annoying and loud water pump behind the room. Making noise and vibration literally every 8 seconds day and night. I would only go back if this is fixed. On the other end of the property are all the pool machines which are also quite loud. Mattress was worn out.

Amazing service and friendly staff. Marie was super helpful and provided good information. We really enjoyed our big veranda at the lodge and the privacy. The garden is so lush and beautiful as well.

The breakfast selection was good but the coffee was quite blend. The restaurant could cater for more vegetarian dishes.

Tara Lodge was certainly a haven of peace, which we needed after Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. The setting is lovely, with lots of foliage and beautiful pool. The staff were lovely and the food was great.

Nothing to do with Tara Lodge but Kep doesn’t have a lot going for it. Not much to do and not especially pretty.

Cozy wooden cabins surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very spacious so you hardly notice that other guests are there. The pool is large and very clean.Nice sunbeds and chairs around it. Excellent breakfast. And then the owners..... very kind and welcoming. They can arrange motorbike rental, tuk-tuk rides and give info about things to see in the area. I recommend this hotel very much for a few relaxing days in Kep.

Gorgeous relaxing location with lovely rooms and great staff.

The restaurant is adequate but overpriced. The centre of Kep is a long walk so it’s a little remote but that is also the charm and is true of many accommodations here. We hired a motorbike to get around which was great. If you’re not comfortable with this then use tuktuks.

We liked everything about the property! The host, Marie, was so friendly & helpful … looked after us really well. The rooms were lovely & clean … at a much better standard than we’ve seen elsewhere in Cambodia! The swimming pool area and restaurant were beautifully done.
