Upmarket hotel, all wood and polished marble. Staff were very helpful. Great location with mountain views and a large lawn terrace. My single bed was a king single, very comfortable. Huge bathroom, very clean. I had an excellent meal in the hotel dining room. Breakfast was very comprehensive too. Attentive service by waiters for both meals. The wifi was good enough to watch live TV. It’s the best place I have ever stayed. I wish I could rate it undici.

I had to leave.

The beds were really comfortable! The gardens were really peaceful! It was fun to stay in a beautiful old historical building. The staff at breakfast was exceptional! There was a gentleman there that was over and above, and made our mornings just perfect!

I may have misunderstood the booking… But I thought there was a shuttle or transportation to the center of town. We were there on a weekend and buses don’t run on a Sunday. Wow we don’t mind walking, it would’ve been helpful to have the option of transportation to and from the train station.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. An old historic building set with an impressive facade and an outside restaurant area. Myself and my two sons had just finished a portion of the Alta Via 1 hike and we were in need of a rest, showers, clean sheets and ...relaxation. All of this was met, with in addition a superb meal and wine - along with an extremely friendly and efficient head waiter. Only one night, but ...MEMORABLE!!

It is really a beautiful place with great people. The building is amazing, and the views are beautiful. A great deal with the breakfast being included, which was a very nice one with great variety and people ready to serve. WiFi was strong (but just inside).

Price is above the general in the area. Getting there is tricky and thru narrow alleyways (Google Maps is not working well in Italy and in Europe in general. I sent the correction, but ...!). Dinner is pricy.

Restaurant staff were amazing! Firendly and helpfull on whatever we needed their assistance for - unlike the reception staff. The hotel is amazing, the rooms are classic and in style. Restaurant is perfect for the money spent. Very friendly and helpful staff in restaurant - they even solved our language problems with other local businesses.

The hotel was overall very nice, with friendly and very helpful folks at the front desk and our room was large and mostly comfortable. The location was good but not great. The food and drink was good, and the breakfast buffet was generous. The property is beautiful.

The beds were a little hard, the shower/ water was weird (it periodically ran extremely hot to the point of being painful - the front desk acknowledged that it was a known issue with how their water system worked to ensure the pipes wouldn't freeze in the winter, but was a real pain in the summer). The front desk staff was really nice, but the cleaners were a little *too* persistent (they kept knocking/ banging on the door, even when we told them we weren't ready to leave yet and needed a little more time) and for some reason the restaurant wouldn't let us eat dinner outside, even though they would serve us drinks and they were fine with us eating breakfast outside.

The espresso! :) Good breakfast, quiet atmosphere. The location at the hill distant from the town noise. Nice interior and design preserving the old building.

Shower space a bit narrow, but OK. Just had to be careful not spilling water outside. Some items need repair. In general nothing that affects the experience significantly.

17th century Authentic mansion, fully renovated in late 2000s. Floors don't creak, all facilities are a bit outdated but work well. Beds are comfy, sound-proof is good, views are stunning, service is great. Restaurant is worthy. Breakfast is very good. Parking..

First, you get used to a special smell, not strong, but in an hour you won't notice it

Super value for money. Authentic and rustic design, charming villa in a quiet neighborhood. Better than in the pictures. Comfortable beds. Plentiful and tasty breakfast. Would definitely come back!

The bathroom can be tricky for bigger people, but wasn't a problem for us.
