Everything was great, the room the bed the bath the food the service the staff, everything. Except for one thing. The chair. I must’ve banged my feet and ankles on the chair in my room 100 times. The chairs legs are made of a substance harder than anything else known to man. Hurt my leg so many times. Who picked the furniture?

Breakfast was excellent, with western and Japanese options. Service overall was kind and efficient. The location cannot be beat as the lift is seconds from the property and the village is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Though the food in the restaurants was very good, the room service food was only middling at best. Timing around room cleaning could be improved - our room was not always serviced by the time we returned from skiing. Same with turn down service - occasionally the room had not been serviced by the time we returned from dinner.

Their in house onsen was superb with open air concept.

Food price is on the high side (a basic sandwich cost about Usd37) and breakfast buffet cost about Usd56.
