The best part of this albergue is the yard. There's a wonderful cafe/bar on the side that's a great place to relax, do laundry (by hand or by machine), and meet other people. Dinner and breakfast were also quiet good. All of the staff members I interacted with were wonderful.

It's not that I didn't like the room, but it's worth mentioning so that others are prepared. My room was in the basement of the building. It had two bunk-beds and a small washroom, and there was one tiny window with no view. For me, this room hit the mark of being cool, quiet, and dark... perfect for an early bedtime. But it felt a little claustrophobic and the washroom situation wasn't ideal, so this may not be everyone's cup of tea.

The hostel was like a hotel! It was so nicely decorated with great facilities i.e. in house bar and restaurant. The staff at reception were so welcoming. Very welcome and surprisingly lovely retreat for those on the Camino.

The barman on the evening shift was pointedly rude to those of us on the Camino. So much so that it was a topic of conversation among the many different groups of us that stayed there that night. Examples included people being ignored point blank while trying to order food / drinks only for locals to be served immediately, short abrupt answers to questions. All in all the only bad thing about the stay but such a shame given the amazing standards throughout the rest of the property.

First hostel after the Camino trail into Puente la Reina. Staff very friendly and helpful. €14,50 for breakfast that was totally ample and sufficient. Really nice to have a breakfast that isn't just bread and butter. Really nice to have gotten a real towel included!

The albergue side has these canvas cloths overhead on every room to make it look like glamping style however because of this makes the room very stuffy and hot because the air conditioning is above it, so no cool air can penetrate the rooms unless you open the door/window. This can be frustrating for mosquitos, road noise and on this day it was raining so became very humid and had to sit in common areas. clothes like out the back not really in sunny area so can't dry as fast. Very comfortable beds.

Nice place right on the Camino, although a bit far from city center, but that wasn't a problem for me. It is a basic, budget room, with private bathroom and value for money is good. Room is clean and it wasn't too much noise during the night as majority of guests are probably pilgrims.

On your key card it says that check out is at 9 am (Booking says 9:30, but ok). But when I got back from breakfast around 8:40-45 to go to toilet, brush my teeth and pack final things, I saw that cleaning staff was already in my room and took all towels and sheets from bed. If check out is 9 am then I don't want people in my room before that, especially if my all of my stuff is still in there. Missing a towel in that moment was inconvinient.

Super nicely decorated, very stylish and as a Pilgrim you kinda feel out of place in such a lavish Albergue :-) all the facilities and rooms was super nice! Pin code to get in your room so very very safe

Walls are paper thin, people were really noisy and loud. Each room has a pin coded sliding door and it is impossible to sleep with people in and out their rooms, not sure how they would change that but those doors were slamming non stop. There are signs everywhere to be silent, but I feel like the staff should maybe go in there every now and then and tell people to be quiet, they could definately be heard in reception.

We had a fantastic stay here as we walked some of the Camino. A beautiful setting with really comfortable bed and a bath in the room! Bathroom and shower facilities were great and it was a real bonus to sleep in a bed with proper sheets and to get towels! The pilgrim meal was the best we had!

As other people have mentioned - the walls of each glamping ‘pod’ don’t go to the ceiling so when anyone walks /talks in any of the surrounding rooms it nearly sounds like they might be in your room! So just the noise aspect but really it wasn’t bad and it was just a fabulous place to stay.

The room was modern, the bed was strong and sturdy and very comfortable. The washroom was super-clean, and the shower was the best yet. I had an excellent night's sleep.

I didn't realize the Albergue was part of the Hotel, so I walked straight past into the middle of town looking for the entrance gates that are depicted in all of the apps. After retracing my steps, [15mins) I entered the Hotel and was told yes it is an Hotel and an Albergue. When I entered the garden I seen the elusive gates. They were closed.

Glamping, and interesting concept. The private room has walls that go part way up and there canvas is draped to create a tent like atmosphere. Clean and comfortable, and our room had a wall of windows that overlooked the nature area. It's kind of a cross between a dorm and a private room. Without full walls if anyone is talking in the neighboring rooms you will hear them, but visually you are blocked.

There is a common area and bar/courtyard that was closed, I assume because we were at the start of the off season and not enough other occupants to make it worthwhile.

Modern albergue adjunct to a hotel with bar and snack foods available. Towel and cotton sheets provided. Well-heated at night in freezing outside temps. Very convenient for the Camino.

The aircon was extremely loud and blew a gust in my face when lying down, forcing me to reverse my lying position. There are only canvas ceilings in the albergue (with a high roof encompasing all, so noise travels across them, private and dorm alike. Same in the showers. Some fittings broken in the men's shower.

The room was delightful with a big double bed with a bath in the room!! Beautiful

There is no sound proofing between the rooms and our bedroom which was a lovely double was next to a dormitory where the guests persisted in being nosey until late. The signs do say silencio so this perhaps more of a reflection on the guests. The bath water ran cold quite quickly. The problem is that if you provide a bath people will want to luxuriate in a deep bath. Tough one.
