Location is very centered, right next to 7/11 and a 5 minute walk away from the beach. Rooms were cleaned daily and even if you didn’t leave your key at the reception, they still asked whether you wanted to have your room cleaned. Fresh bottles of water were given daily. The staff was very friendly, room was specious and perfect for a family of 4.

It is true that whenever you had a question - no one was ever at reception. But when you call their local number, they will come and assist in less than 5 minutes. The walls are paper thin. And the pillows are extremely hard and uncomfortable.

Perfect location with cozy bedrooms and sweet patios/lounging space. Would 100% stay here again. Totally worth the price. Staff is so friendly and anything you ask for you will receive in seconds!

Hallway lights sometimes shined into the room but not a deal breaker at all. Sometimes faint noises coming from the streets at night when going to sleep, but again not a deal breaker and very tolerable! Doesn’t last!! The location makes sense to sometimes hear noises so it was expected!

The staff were super lovely and the room was very cool! The location was brilliant! Very close to the beach surrounded by great shops and restaurants. The room was well stocked with toiletries and the bed was excellently comfortable.

It was a bit bright at night through the thin curtains with the lights outside on the walking path and because our room was next to the breakfast area we could hear the staff preparing food in the morning. None of it was terrible but thought worth mentioning. The beaded strands on the inside of the bathroom doors made it a bit difficult getting in and out. Just the doors would probably be enough and would still look cool.

A great place to stay on Koh Samed. The location is extremely central and you can easily walk from the pier to the guest house (about 10 mi ute walk). The beach is less than 10 minute walk and yoy can hire bikes all around town (they all charge 400 baht per day). The owners are helpful and the breakfast is good, although didnt cater very much for vegetarians/vegans (probably the only negative point). We were very happy with our stay at this place :)

Kala Krang Nueng - “Once upon a time” a nice little hotel, there a steps to the levels, watch your head if you are tall. Comfortable bed with spacious room. A bath and shower there is a sitting area outside room to have a smoke or look over the street below. Great location only couple minutes to beach two 7-Eleven across road from each other and some great little places to eat

The rooms are beautifully decorated. For a 2 star rated property, this hotel is amazing! The location was perfect, many restaurants close, very close to 711, ATM, songthaews and a very short walk to the beach. Staff are very kind and friendly. Breakfast was a small buffet with a few choices - eggs, ham, toast, cereal, tea and coffee, fruit (+ congee first day / + pancakes and fried rice on second day) :) We absolutely loved the place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Koh Samed.

Beds are a little bit hard and an extra pillow would have been amazing.

great location. 5m walk or 20babt taxi from pier. 2min walk to beach. next door to 7 11. lots bars resturants shops close by. quiet. no street noise. large rooms.

breakfast is simple and small. tends to run out after 9am. hot dishes are all cold.

The location was really great, the staff helpful and very smiley. The room was a great size with a good shower and comfortable bed. We very much enjoyed our stay

Have been here many times. Really nice place with good location at the main road of Koh Samet. Easy to walk everywhere around city area, and white sand beach. Nice and big clean room. OK small breakfast also served. Wifi was OK.

Quite often you don't see staff anywhere near the front desk.
