Stunning villa which creates an oasis in the city of Ragusa. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond at every opportunity (arranging taxies, booking restaurants, keeping the wine flowing!). We had three beautiful rooms on the first floor over the reception, each was beautifully decorated with its own balcony where we could enjoy mid afternoon drinks. The local wines which you could buy were delicious, as was the locally produced olive oil which we have bought as gifts to take back to London and Canada. Ragusa itself is stunning, the old town is one of the most beautiful cities we have seen, particularly at sunset. The hotel is in the more modern “upper” part of Ragusa and access to the old town is either a 45 minute walk (downhill) or a taxi - a trip well worth making. The hotel is also being upgraded to include a spa, I can’t wait to return to experience that! If you are thinking of visiting Sicily, Ragusa is a must and this hotel creates an oasis where you can relax with a glass of wine in between trips to the old town. An absolute must!

This is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels we have stayed in. The Villa has been renovated in such a wonderful and respectful manner. The rooms, the gardens, the pool and the terrace are all amazing and a different experience each. The Villa is located at the new Ragusa city which is a short 15 min drive from the old historical centre. This place is a sanctuary where you can relax after a busy day. The rooms were very quiet and naturally cool. The breakfast is from artisan products fresh every morning. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our very late check in and our early check out. It is a wonderful hotel run by excellent professionals.

Gorgeous villa and the dependence we booked was very charming. The surrounding with the garden and pool were very relaxing. Amazing breakfast with a great buffet including local products. Nice touch with the little present in the room and the lady that welcomed us was very warm and helpful.

Unfortunately, because of the "layout of our room", we could not enjoy the massage services of the hotel and no alternative were offered. The bar was closed too? Small details to reach the 10/10 : add a little reading lamp, upgrade the pillows (mine were flat) and the bathroom pedal bin was broken.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly those on reception and the pool bar. The hotel is beautifully designed, very well presented and very quiet. Plenty of free parking. The bedroom was very comfortable. Beautiful gardens.

Breakfast was quite basic, in comparison to lots of the other hotels we have stayed at during our tour of Sicily. Location is quite strange- In the middle of a residential area so no privacy on the balconies and it is a good 45 min walk to the old town or 20mins to the bus stop to take you to the old town; taxi one way about 20 euros. The pool, although in a pretty, shaded spot was very small and shallow.

The hotel is a beautiful baroque style with modern tasteful renovation. Everything was perfect from the facilities to the staff to help you enjoy a parenthèse and relaxation in this peaceful and amazing environment. The hotel is located 20 minutes walks from Ragusa Ibla (be careful if you don’t have good knees because it’s a hill on the way back) but the location is perfect if you need to visit cities around (Modica, Noto…). A big thank you to Giulia, Ilie, Giueseppe, Gloria, Serena and Laurence, you made this journey even better and magical thanks to your kindness, hospitality, smiles and advises.

An interesting place. A lovely old villa which has been renovated as a very smart and modern hotel, although a small one. The service from reception was great. The rooms were beautiful.

Breakfast service was patchy and both the range of food and the service could be improved. It's in an odd out of the way location, so you definitely need a car to see the local sights easily. The neighbourhood it is in is nothing to write home about - ok, but there's not a lot there to see.

This renovated villa is very good; with a magical garden and pool to escape the eat. We were given a lovely restored stone room in the garden with a terrific shower; strong internet and two pillows each! Good parking out front and a lovely breakfast served inside or out. We were csiiribn during a very hot spell and teh air conditioning worked perfectly.

Be aware the hotel is some distance from the famed old quarter with its cascading housing and Baroque churches but we drove there jn just a few minutes and explored to our hearts content.

The Villa was beautiful and clean. The staff were helpful and full of useful information about the local area and willing to help with queries. The breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of different foods to eat. The gardens were a lovely place to sit and relax.

Location was not the best however that's not the fault of the hotel. Ragusa I feel is still getting used to having tourists visit however Ragusa Ibla was the place to be.

It’s an ancient family summer house, the descendent was managed to transform it into a very nice boutique hotel. It’s aesthetically very well designed with a terrace, swimming pool bar, rooms and botanical gardens. Service stuff was so nice and made us feel so welcomed.

I felt the music in the public space was a bit too loud. I could still the music at 11pm from my room and woke up at 7h30 with the music again…🥹 The location is not the strength of this place, it’s 50min walk from city centre when you walk uphill and 30min downhill. But we know it when we booked it, the rest of the hotel was still worth the distance 😄

The place is great really nice, the rooms are cosy and very clean, there is a nice garden with a little pool area. The breakfast was great with a lot of choices and you can have it on the terrace with a nice view of the garden witch was really great.

The location of the hotel is in the periphery of Ragusa so you must have a taxi to get in the central area (there are not so many taxis in the city and you pay 40 euros for it).
