The property was plenty big enough for my requirements and it was spotless upon arrival. The hosts were communicating thoroughly up to and during the stay in providing updates concerning the booking. It’s located centrally within Kaka Point, and is a short walk into the centre or a short drive to Molyneux Bay. It’s also located about 10/15mins from Nugget Point Lighthouse - and is about 20mins from Balclutha, or the same to Owaka and so if you’re intending to do the Southern Scenic Route I would recommend this accommodation. I would definitely stay again at this property!

Beautiful views of kaka beach. The room looked to have recently been refreshed which was a nice surprise. The big spa and candles made for a nice cosey bath. I really loved the kitchenette - we made use of the things there for eat dinner and breakfast. Also loved the heated blanket and the information on all the places to eat.

The carpet is a bit stained and lifting near the kitchenette (which is fine, but it did look like it could do with a replacement at some point). We had a little trouble keeping the floor heating on. I also couldn't figure out the heating for the room - that is probably a user error (ie. Silly customer me not figuring it out).

The apartment is beautiful, big and spacious with large windows and a marvellous view. We liked all, especially the comfortable bed, the bathtube with whirlpool and the ocean view. The last morning there was an awesome and spectacular sunrise with rainbow, the best ever we had. From Kaka Point we could visit easily many places of the Katlins, so we loved it. The responsable woman was very helpful and friendly, f.e. with the key and all our questions.

The fridge made a little noise in the night but it was okay so far.

The location is perfect with an amazing view out to sea. Inside is very comfortable, with reclining chairs positioned to take in the view, two seater dining table, comfortable bed, kitchenette with stove top, fridge & microwave (no oven), a great shower and a luxurious spa bath with a view! Everything you could want with some lovely thoughtful extras (candles, robes, footstools). Host Lisa is just a text away if you need anything, but has honestly already thought of everything. Absolutely would love to come back.

The views from the apartment were stunning with a panoramic lookout over the beach. Spacious and fairly well equipped and an extra treat to have the spa bath. Some extra thoughtful additions such as a telescope, footstools and comfortable reclining chairs which was nice at the end of a days walking. Very large and comfortable bed which for us is a top priority.

Proximity to the road, some traffic noise early evening and morning. A heated towel rail would have been nice to dry towels properly. Shortage of glassware.

Excellent location with great views over the sea, and the local cafe/restaurant just down the road. Excellent bathroom, comfy beds, and the room had everything we needed.

We were here for 3 nights, and on the second night there was a bit of noise from the people in the next unit (music with bass coming through the wall). Thankfully it didn't go all night, but it was a bit annoying. Not the host's fault though!

The room was nicely decorated and the lounge chairs were extremely comfy. Nice bath products available. The owner was very friendly and helpful. But the best thing was the amazing ocean view, it was incredible!

The apartment wasn't totally clean when we arrived but the owner quickly came to fix it for us. When we filled the tub with hot water there was no hot water left for showering.

Outstanding views, super comfortable bed and amazing host. Easy check in and the place has everything you need for a relaxing holiday in peace and quiet. The roar of the sea will put you to sleep. Place warmed up in no time with the heat pump and underfloor heating in the bathroom. To top it off there is a spa bath with a view! Sky TV with movies and bluetooth speaker. You really just need your wine, snacks, pjs and a book.

Amazing views and fantastic location not far from Nugget Point. Easy check in. Helpful to have a basic kitchenette for simple meals. Large studio room. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and spa bath were a special treat.

Additional cutlery would be useful. The king size bed had a bit of a hump in the middle. Kitchen/living decor a bit tired in places but everything was functional.

This was the perfect base for doing day trips into the Catlins and Central Otago. The property had a lovely view, a realy lovely modern bathroom and a comfortable bed. We also enjoyed having only one other neighbour and the manager was lovely.

Only that the breakfast bowls were too small for my husband and there was no knife for cutting bread.
