From start to finish, Ian and Bev were marvelous hosts. Even before we arrived, Ian called to ask how we would prefer the beds to be configured. We arrived with silt covered bikes and panniers and Ian immediately produced a hose and started spraying them clean for us. There was a secure shed with many power points for charging electric bikes. In the morning Ian showed us a map so we would be safe riding to the start of the trail and then pumped my bike tyre which was flat. The accommodation was warm and comfortable with everything we needed and close to all amenities in Milton. Thanks very much indeed - highly recommended - bless you

The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful. Newly renovated motel unit. Very comfy with a homely atmosphere. On main road but unit was quiet. Comfortable bed. Easy parking. Pretty garden and potted plants. Hosts were very open to suggestions for any improvements as they recently purchased and renovated these motel units. Exceptionally good value. It was a pleasure to stay here. Recommended!

A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would be a welcome inclusion. The table was a bit narrow for two people to sit at and eat.

Location, shower and amenities were very nice. Excellent renovations made it a pleasant stay.

In the twin bedroom the electric plug for charging my cellphone was hidden at the wrong end of the bed considering it is also my alarm clock. I like it somewhere close to the head of the bed so that it doesn’t also wake everyone else up, trying to fumble for it.

Owner/managers were friendly and helpful, with good tips and local knowledge about the cycle trail we were riding, and where to eat. All units are ground floor and the carpark is spacious. I was very pleased to see an enclosed/covered bicycle shed under construction to a high standard. The location is on the main road, with shops very nearby. The motel is also easy to find and close to the Clutha Gold cycle trail.

The landlord was very friendly. The motel is neat and clean, the room was comfortable. Breakfast was available and good. We used Milton as a base to visit Dunedin, which is less than an hour away.

The motel is located directly at the state highway with its heavy traffic and thereby, some noise was present all day.

We were only there for a few hours but the Owner rang in advance to confirm details as we were arriving late at night When we did arrive - the curtains were pulled, lights were on and the heater going - felt very welcoming thanks

Classic southern hospitality. Exceptional value for money. Local advice from staff about where to eat. Straight up, really surprised at just how lovely this place was and what great value for money. Very comfortable place to kick back for a night while on a weekend roadtrip.

It was clean and had everything we needed for a one night stop over. Owners were friendly and helpful. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment walking distance to town.

Could maybe change the colour of the bed spreads if wanted to make it a little brighter and fresh but purely subjective.

Being located on the main road mean't that trucks were going past day and night .We got used to the noise so it didn't bother us. Very clean room Impressed with the shower Owner and staff very helpful

The no lock on the bathroom door, especially with 4 of us and forgetting to ask if anyone was in there before opening the door.
