The location in Mosgiel is good. I was in town for a family birthday celebration.

We didnt raise this at the time as we're only there for 1 night and spent little time in the room but the bathroom was really dusty following some maintenance work, believe the light fitting was changed and there was builders dust all over the vanity, window sill and towel rack, in turn the towels and any clothes but on the floor.

Finding the Motel was easy when the Bella Vista brand stands out with it's own unique style and colors, no street number needed when needing to drive safely. I needed to arrive after office hours were closed due to evening log inspection work at Port chalmers. Mosgiel great safe stop on the way home to Invercargill after a very hot & tiring day. My host was so kind to let myself & others know which rooms we were in so we weren't left wondering. I needed to hit the road pretty early in the morning, to beat the heat & traffic so unfortunately didn't get to meet my host but hopefully next time. The previous night I had stayed at the Dunedin Bella Vista great north road, so I knew Mosgiel would be just as perfect for it's tidyness, comfort and 0 negative comments. Perfect for my needs!, thank you so much, I'll definitely be back if another unplanned night away needs me to stay safely and not needed close to work ❤😁

The bed was very comfortable and the unit was spotlessly clean. the staff engagement was fantastic too.

The pump on the body wash in the bathroom was on lock and impossible for me to fix. The unit feels quite old fashioned for being at top end of prices in Mosgiel

It is walking distance to shops, which is good. The units are smaller, but had everything i needed. The owner is clearly invested in environmental sustainability; lots of minor things really add up. On a main road, but no real traffic noise that I noted.

Clean, well serviced and Patsy was lovely!

We stayed in a superior studio, and it was much smaller than we expected. Fine for a few nights, but any longer for more than one person would’ve been quite cramped.

Room was very clean and well presented. Owners are fantastic and very welcoming. Location is great, close to centre of town and amenities. Highly recommend staying at Bella Vista when in Mosgiel!

Great location in Mosgiel. And not very noisy considering beside the main road. The room is very tidy and clean.

The shampoo bottle in the room 17 has problem and I couldn’t use it at the begging. I fixed the problem in the end.

The suite was spotless and warm. The bed was so comfortable and the price was excellent. I highly recommend this motel. I will stay here again the next time I visit Mosgiel. Bella Vista is central to the town with everything, only a short walk away.

It was very clean. It was right in the centre of Mosgiel which I needed. The room was easily accessible with a toddler and enough room for us all. Quite sound proof too, I never heard the storm outside

What breakfast none offered, was convenient as funeral held next door. Good service and cleanliness of room, also great to find cellphone charger. Labels would be helpful.

Need two comfy chairs in room. Hooks or stool in bathroom for hanging or putting clothes while showering. Need security lights outside room, very hard to get key into lock when dark.
