The location was great, in the heart of old town. The city has a big free parkig 15 min walking distance to the apartament, and it felt very safe and organized, we gladly left our car there. The first day when we arrived we were given a complimentary breakfast and could check in before 16:00. One day our apartment lost power after the reception was closed and they came by in 15 minutes and fixed it. Our apartment was completely renovated and very beautiful.

Breakfast was not very diverse, it was traditional.

It was a nice room, large bathroom and shower and an additional room with a spa bath (unexpected but a little treat). The bed was comfortable. It was a great location with many restaurants and cafes close by. This “hotel” has a number of rooms close by there reception area but they are not all together. They also offer a breakfast buffet near reception. As most people rent a car in Puglia, this accommodation offered to pick you up and drop you off to your car that can be parked in a free carpark about 15mins walk from your room. We were happy to have stayed in Monopoli for the evening access to all the restaurants and the great summery vibe of the town. It is just 10 minutes drive or train north to see Polignano a mare and an easy drive to the beach Lidos south of the town. Only one small town beach in Monopoli that gets very crowded so don’t expect to be loving this option if you are staying a few days.

The apartments were placed in the middle of the old town, both are well-equipped. The town is absolutely amazing!!! Everything was super close by walking. First day they recommended a restaurant for us, we visited them 3 times while we were there, highly recommended. From the free parking lot they provided a free transport for us. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had to leave earlier than breakfast time, in order to catch our flight and they prepared for us breakfast boxes :)

It would have been better if we got the apartments next to each other, as one of them was at the reception and the other is 3 blocks away. If you like to sleep quietly, I recommend preparing with earplugs, as a local family lived above us with small children, and they were pretty loud late at night and early in the morning.

Amazing location right in the heart of the Centro Storico and close to the beach. I stayed in a charming little one bedroom apartment with its own kitchen and outdoor terrace. They offer a courtesy pick up from the local train station which was very helpful. Friendly staff and check-in. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Some basic provisions like salt, pepper and olive oil and a tea towel in the kitchen would have been helpful and appreciated. When you're only staying for 3 nights you don't really want to go out and buy all those items.

We were completely satisfied. For us, we received a huge authentic apartment, well equipped. We didn't expect anything like that, so we were very happy. Breakfast was in a very charming breakfast room opening from a small inner courtyard. The food was served so carefully that you don't get such a breakfast in many 4-5 star hotels. It was fantastic and thank you for that. In addition, special thanks to Mario, who was available to us upon arrival and departure with the hotel's shuttle service.

Great location in the heart of Monopoli and staff were lovely and very helpful. Washing machine was handy to have which was on the terrace with 2 clothes line to dry your clothes.

Too many stairs and they were very steep, lights were on a timer which was dangerous if they went off while going up or down the stairs. Bedroom and bathroom very small so not much room to move around. Also could do with a full length mirror and not just the one in the bathroom. Air conditioning was very noisy at night and couldn’t really feel it as it was behind the clothes rail and was pointing up to the ceiling.

Property was in a great position within the old town of Monopoli. A casual stroll everywhere and access to the water. Silvia from the company was a wonderful host and extremely helpful and welcoming. The pickup service was also greatly appreciated as my wife was injured and not as mobile as usual. Despite this, the location was a reasonably comfortable walk from the station. The room was very comfortable.

Hard not to like anything about the place and the hosts.

Good location in the heart of Monopoli. Nice breakfast with friendly staff that is served outside. Our room which was more like an apartment was very clean. Good WiFi.

The hotel has its rooms scattered within a close proximity of the reception and breakfast area. Our room was around the corner which was perfectly fine with us. We had to go up a narrow spiral staircase to the room which was also fine with us but this might be difficult for some people to manage. Also if you arrive by car remember to follow their instructions not to drive into the old town zone where the hotel is located. We forgot about this and it was a difficult drive to get back out, though a staff person got in our car with us and helped lead us out which was very helpful.

Different apartments assigned to you by Albergo Diffuso around the Centro storico area of Monopoli. We stayed in a perfect location, lovely, spacious and comfortable 2-bedroom apartment; near Piazza Garibaldi and the wonderful Pan Forno St Catarina bakery and a perfect place to stay to visit Monopoli. Excellent communication prior to arrival to confirm details. Complimentary transport to and from recommended parking area. Silvia at reception was so lovely and helpful.

Albergo Diffuso is a fantastic, magical stay. A real experience! We booked a Queen Room with Spa Bath and were completely enchanted with our stay. The room was away from the reception area, so felt a bit like our own Air BnB. The bed was comfy, nicely designed room, complimentary mini bar (including Prosecco which was a treat), and a complimentary TukTuk ride to/ from the free public car park outside of the old town. Would recommend paying the extra room upgrade for this experience as it really made our time in Monopoli!
