The bed and the pillows were excellent.

Air conditioning made a loud noise on and off. Poor lightning and some outlets didn't work. The pocketdoor in the bathroom didn't close completely and besides does not make the bathsoom private.

Good location, nice pool area and gym. Restaurant was buzzing daily which was nice. Good proximity to other stores and restaurants too. Room was large and spacious.

Construction going on at the time of booking so the lobby was in a bit of disarray with the desk constantly moving. Understand that it has to be done so nothing staff can do. Some of the decor is a bit dated and are reminiscent of more of a motel but I'm sure it'll be lovely after all the renovations are complete.

Hotel looked attractive overall, but does need some updating as certain areas scream "worn and torn". Room and bed were comfortable. Loved the pillows. The shower was pleasant as well. The included breakfast, which was tasty, was à la carte--a refreshing departure from the standard, buffet-style continental fare. For us the location was perfect. It close to where we needed to be for a business engagement.

Not a whole lot to dislike, honestly. The price was a little steep, but it is understandable given the location. Hallways had that typical "old hotel smell". I'm guessing that has to do with the outdated carpets (which are in dire need of change). The hotel is clearly past its prime. The ongoing conversion to a DoubleTree feels like the right move.

The staff is so warm and friendly! The people that work there genuinely seem like nice caring people. They went out of there way to help me with little things I needed after my surgery. The maids are also sweet and do an excellent job at cleaning. I would definitely stay here again!

As long time visitors/business partners in Fr Myers we LOVE the fact that this hotel helped the community after Hurricane Ian. The stories we heard from staff living in the area of the kindness given to them at the time won us over and anytime we need a hotel here, this will be our choice.

The ONLY complaint was that the bathroom door shut funny in our room. Considering the area is still recovering from a hurricane, I don’t know it that’s really a complaint?

I loved the breakfast and the fact the restaurant was on the premises. Very comfy bed!

We had to leave a day early and didn’t like that booking.com refused to give us back a refund for the one day or even try to accommodate us. I spoke with the young lady at Crown Plaza and she said she would have not charged us for that night. Next time I will not use booking.com and book directly with the hotel.

It was fine

It needs an upgrade I really don’t understand all the bad reviews at this hotel, we almost canceled account of them but didn’t and was very glad we didn’t. Yes it’s a little old but it was clean had no bad smell like the other reviews said. Would definitely go back. The only negative was the breakfast in the restaurant it was awful, eggs over done, potatoes cold, would go elsewhere for breakfast.

We left at 5:45. Reception clerk, dressed in hooded sweatshirt, busy talking with other staff, acted bothered that we were there. Big old holes in ears. Not Double Tree quality for sure.

The waitress Michele in the breakfast restaurant was very good and friendly! Always polite and had a smile!

I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name that checked me in. Extremely professional and welcoming. I asked about the renovations that had occurred since my last stay, and he was very knowledgeable about them, and even informed me of upcoming improvements. I will stay at your hotel every time I visit that market. 2-3 times per month going forward. Your staff is excellent. The rooms are also much nicer since the renovations.

Tough question, but I would have to say that the chairs at the outside bar at Shoeless Joe’s are very uncomfortable, and not the right height for the bar. That is the only thing I can come up with.
