I loved this place. What a fabulous and sympathetically converted old building, it is a feast for the eyes. I spent ages exploring every inch of it and taking many photos, it gave me as much pleasure as going out sightseeing did. It was extremely hot outside when I was there but the walls of the building are so thick that I didn't even need the aircon on. It was spotlessly clean, the water in the shower was hot, the WiFi was fast, and even though my window opened to an internal hallway it was very quiet (although it was a Monday night when I was there so it may be different at a busier time). There is a very comfortable lounge and a beautiful outdoor courtyard for guests to enjoy although, as a budget priced hotel there is no bar or restaurant but you will already know that from the listing. A big advantage is that there is a lift (elevator)

It is a little difficult to find, it is tucked away, back from the street a little. Although the WiFi is excellent I was unable to get a signal on my phone when in my room, obviously due to the thickness of the walls. Everything else was as I expected.

Breakfast was not included; the coffee was okay but not great. The room was very unique, two windows looking at the patios, a very nice bed, and a fireplace, to my big surprise. And the thing I really appreciated was a bathtub with bubbles! Loved that. Another good thing is that the hotel has a very good location, and everything is very close. Nice pace, value for money.

Breakfast - better eat somewhere else.

Absolutely beautiful place in a great location, perfect for exploring lovely Carmona. Spacious room with window onto pretty inner courtyard. Friendly reception.

City map unhelpful for two reasons: lacked detail and only available in Italian - not having a map in Spanish or English, was very surprising. The map from the Turismo is much more detailed and helpful, and they have it in several languages.

The bathroom was big, good light and pretty comfortable (water pressure, shower setup) Good size for the room, with a nice closet The staff were very friendly

The lighting in the room was not the best, too dark overall No parking You could hear every sound from people passing by the corridor quite loud, not great isolation Our window was to a corridor where people would pass by so we could not really open it that much (too exposed)

The decor, lighting, tranquility and location. Friendly staff and breakfast. The property and room was very clean. Situated right in the centre of town.

I loved it, but the cherry on top would have been if they offered dinner, although there are plenty of very good restaurants in the proximity. But as it was a festive weekend, many restaurants were closed. Because of this I would also have liked to see tea coffee making facilities. But simply an observation without taking away the charm from this lovely hotel.

I enjoy architecture, well designed spaces, selection of materials & furnishings. Superb. Hotel staff are competent, welcoming & efficient. Location is within the walls of The Alcazar, convenient to all of the history of central Carmona. The rooms are beautiful, have comfortable beds & adequate size.

The location was beautiful and convenient. The rooms were beautiful and all very unique. The area was safe. I did a lot of walking around by myself as well as with a group. Laundry service was great. Staff was so sweet and helpful. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and they let me leave stuff for the bride to pick up the day after the wedding after I checked out.

Staff were very helpful in finding activists.

Unless you have the air conditioning on, the air inside the rooms were stale. Although there were windows .. the air would not circulate as the whole complex was enclosed with a beautiful glass

Interesting building, spotlessly clean in a great location. It has very comfortable common areas and terraces for guests to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room had 2 half doors to the bathroom which was divided into 2 / 3 areas. Toilet in one space, sink in the other space , with the bath in between. Not a lot of privacy. Also 18 € per night for a small dog is very expensive

Fantastic old Spanish building, full of character. It was good to have a lounge area with a comfortable sofa, a real fire was also available with an extra charge for the fuel.

Breakfast was unfortunately poor.
