Lovely bedroom and bathroom, well laid out communal areas and patios, swimming pool would be lovely when the weather is hot. Good to have an outside parking for our van. Well placed for walking to the places of interest in the town.

Although we contacted the hotel in advance, the vegetarian option for dinner was poor. Also, our experience at breakfast was not good. An exceptionally large party had already been down. Most of the tables had been used and not yet cleared. The single member of staff was run off his feet. There were no cups, glasses or plates and food was in short supply. It was not the fault of the single member of staff, more the hotel’s responsibility to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Large bedroom, comfortably furnished with easy chairs and table, TV , mini fridge, etc. Breakfast was in general very good, wide choice of hot and cold options, the only issue was very hard bacon. I think it was too thin and left out in the warmer for too long. The staff in the bar, restaurant and hotel were very welcoming and helpful, a credit to the hotel The restaurant and bar offered a good choice of snacks, and beautifuly cooked and presented main courses, and not expensive.

Bed was very firm, which for me was very uncomfortable. It wasn't Kingsize, maybe Queen, but more likely a standard double. It came with a long, double pillow tube, with two very soft lumpy pillows on top. Not comfortable at all.

Perfect location between Seville airport and Cordoba that we were visiting for 1 day. Great views across the valley if you have front room. Lovely reception and hallway. Had Tapas in the hotel restaurant which was really excellent especially the almond and garlic soup.

Car parking very limited so had to park on street 5 mins from hotel. This was fine as it was a lovely walk through the old narrow streets. No heated mirror in bathroom so steams up after a shower. Shower over bath which personally I do not like and difficult to get temperature right on shower so end up using more water.

Nice pool with a bar service as some points of the day. , Very comfortable beds, we had 2 rooms which were interconnected which was great as we have 2 children. Very clean. Slept well. Pet friendly and a great location in the historic area of town. We had tapas in the bar area of the restaurant, which were nice. We went on a tapas trail in town the second night, but I think due to the time of year and it being very hot, the town was quite quiet and half of them were shut. There were still enough places to stop off and have a tapa along the way though.

The breakfast was expensive. My 7 year old would not be able to eat 12 euros of breakfast cereals, so we chose not to have it in the hotel and walked into the village for breakfast instead. Very small TVs. Not a problem for us as we were out exploring, but they were the size of a computer monitor so a bit pointless. Everything else was great!

The breakfast was great! So much variety. And delicious. I also enjoyed the tapas restaurant. Everyone needs a mid-day cubata! And the staff at the front desk was incredibly genial. Thanks so much for the care and attention.

There was nothing I did not like. Well... it would have been nice to have a bit more food options available throughout the entire day AND in the late evening. I also wish I'd had a coffeemaker in my room.

The hotel was good; great view from my room, received a personal welcome note from the staff, quick check in/check out process, pool area was great, and so was the restaurant.

I had two issues with the room that were never resolved while I was there: one of the Light switches in the bathroom was not working and the bathroom vent didn't work. Everything was $$$ parking, breakfast, even the room safe key had a 20-euro deposit???? ridiculous Also my room had a three different cost rate per night? total was what I booked.

Love this hotel, great staff in the bar Tabanco, great location central to old town.

We paid for half board which included breakfast and evening meal, 2 days before we were due to arrive we were informed that despite this Christmas eve dinner would be an extra 65€ per person. The food was very cold, main course took ages to arrive, my husband had eaten his food when mine arrived and everything was served on cold plates. As soon the main course was over we were told to leave the restaurant and they would serve coffee and drinks in another room. It was freezing cold in this room and like sitting in a library, nothing going on and no background music. For the extra we paid it was extremely disappointing

Good hotel in a fabulous old building. The room was spacious and comfortable with minibar in the room which we didn't purchase but used to chill our drinks. We had an evening meal at the restaurant, which was fine but the menu choices were somewhat limited. The hotel is well located in the town but many of the ancient sites were closed presumably due to bad weather so site seeing was not the best.

Nothing to complain about. We would recommend a stay here when visiting Carmona.

Hotel’s location is tremendous-right in the heart of historic Carmona. Room was spacious, bed comfortable & bathroom adorned with great toiletries.Fantastic restaurant with a great menu & welcoming service.

Just felt some areas were a little tired. Lift was tiny with quite a thud as it sprang into action. It would have been nice to be able to get a cuppa at any time of day especially as there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Bath /shower quite dated & a little awkward to reach with a fixed shower panel in the way.

I was very impressed with the view from my room ( I could stare out across the plains forever) and the size of my room. The room itself was beautiful and had just enough of the comforts that I need to make me feel welcome. The location of the hotel was great to set off by foot and explore Carmona.

I ended up not eating the breakfast because it was very expensive and not what I generally eat in the morning. My bed was not terribly comfortable- the mattress was more akin to sleeping on a board.
