A fantastic hotel in every way. First of all, it’s set in a dream location if you’re looking for peace and quiet in nature, with breathtaking views. The room was very comfortable with wonderfully cozy beds, the food was delicious, and perhaps what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredibly friendly and caring family who run the place and go out of their way to make you feel at home.

The road (last 3 km) to the hotel might feel a bit challenging for those who aren’t used to driving in the mountains. That said, there is hardly any oncoming traffic and, if there is, drivers are friendly and helpful in making room for each other to pass.

The area is amazing and is so nice to be right in the middle of nature. The property is stunning, though it does require a bit of maintenance especially on the terrace as the wooden flooring is quite old and has missing nails.

The bathroom in the family rooms have glass doors. As we went with our two children we sort of had to leave the room in order for one to have shower or bath. Our daughter is 16 and of course she will be worried of a see through door even if we are her parents. The room is nice for couples but not for families or friends sharing a room. The bathroom gives you no privacy.

Perfect place to relax and disconnect. Very quiet owner-managed hotel in the mountains. Location is great and views are magnificent. Further, you feel relaxation, calmness and happiness from your very first minute in this hotel. The owners make you feel special and cared about. Special thanks for dining experience - really exquisite menu and best wines in Catalonia for a very reasonable price. Everything was great and we definitely recommend the place and want to come back again!

SPA and bathrooms may need a bit of renovation, but this does not influence your overall great experience at this place

Stunning location with spectacular views. Warm and friendly hosts and wonderful food. Great position to visit lots of lovely places, we went to Besalu (make sure you eat at Oliveras), L'Escala, Girona and then into France for Perpignan and Collioure.

If you are hiring a car for your holiday make sure it is a 4x4 it will make the dirt track easier. The floor and rugs in our room needed a better hoover each day, but a very minor point and would not stop us visiting again and highly recommending a stay here.

Amazing location with incredible views. It was lovely chilling by the pool in the day and we went on some great walks straight from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and we also chose to have dinner twice at the hotel which was really good. Excellent food. The owners were also very helpful and friendly.

We were put in the blue room which was very small and looked out over the carpark. For the price of the hotel, I would have expected a slightly larger room. We also didn't realise the spa wasn't included with the hotel which was a shame as it was one of the reasons we chose it

The location is stunning—this hotel, surrounded by nature, is exactly what I was looking for to escape the ordinary routine. The outdoor infinity pool is amazing, with beautiful details that make it perfect for chilling and relaxing.

Great location with an amazing view. Very friendly owners and staff. Nice, small spa area with sauna. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and with a big terrace. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend it to everyone.

This was absolutely a magical place. Wow! We really enjoyed our stay. Also thanks to our upgrade. The room and the views are wonderful and the family is very kind. We also enjoyed the food and the spa! We definitely recommend this place if you want to enjoy nature in a quite place. We did not mind the road to travel there. It is a beautiful place in the hills! The views were incredible. The staff were lovely. The food was excellent. The room was impeccable. We couldn't have asked for more from our experience.

Hotel Rural & Spa Mas Prat is a beautiful locations for a few days of rest and relaxation.

The only downside is the comfort/size of the beds we had in our room.
