The hosts were so friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. Our room was very comfy and cosy and the property has everything you would need. We were able to cook, vegetarian and vegan meals only, which was great. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by and we found access to both Mount Takao and Chichibu were straightforward. The shared bathrooms had really good showers with all the products you could need. We hope to stay again one day.

I loved the cozy space designed with immense love and care. each corner was infused with thoughtfulness and had wonderful ambience. Even though the room was small, it felt sufficient because the temperature and humidity was just right. the sound machine was a bonus. we made use to dining table downstairs to eat and minimally cook. The kind and thoughtful owners were the best part of the stay, who made us feel welcome.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful with recommendations on where to go and when to see things and it was fun to get to know them a little. They were ready and able to help with anything I needed, too. The house is very close to Hachioji Station and not far from Mount Takao, so the location is great.

The house is very busy; the good is that there are amenities for any preference you might have but the downside is that it feels a little crowded in places.

The owners are kind, they provide free drinks like coffee, latte, and tea, it feels like a home!!! The facilities are very detailed, from the room to the shared bathroom and areas! The owner even offered to drive us to the Hachioji station as we have so many luggages and was snowing heavily outside! I would love to come back to stay here if I have chance in the future!

It had every shops & diners in a short walk.

The attention to details which short travellers need; in kitchen (gadgets of toasters, kettles, microwaves) in bathroom ( hair dryer, facial creams, toothpaste etc in regular sizes )in bedrooms (air purifier, plug & sockets for any mobile phones could be charged up)

Great location, a family run minshuku. The pictures don’t do its justice, it’s actually very nice, well equipped and bright. I very much enjoy my stay here

The bed was a bit too soft for me, it dips in the middle like a U shape.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Great location in central Hachioji. Affordable compared to most other accommodation around Tokyo.

The bedroom was a bit smaller than we are used to (for 3 people). The facilities were good, but it felt like we were sharing the host's living space.
