very nice place, hotel in the park

long distance from the room to the restaurant and park places, it takes time to wait for the car the cafe near our room doesn’t work

You can really feel the nature and enjoy in the environment , best option to book the hotel and see all the attractions they offer, you have to try the Thai restaurant, the food is amazing, be there early to catch the best table & the best sunset view.

Clean rooms and tranquil environment. Breakfast is good.

Thankfully my rooms are next to the restaurant. Hence, it is easy for me to travel around. Too many stairs for my elderly folks. Not for the less mobile individuals.

The place is magical. Amazing contact with nature, is like sleeping inside the clouds

Nothing, everything was amazing

The rooms are designed smartly. Our circular room had a bed in the middle with bathroom, shower, sinks, outdoor pool, sofa, and outdoor patio surrounding it. All very isolated in nature.

The whole property is enormous. Transport carts take you across the length of the resort for different items. For example, from our room to the spa was a five minute walk to the cart stop and then a 7 minute ride. The food at the restaurant was not a good value.

Very nicely build into the scenery, lots of nature and privacy, great breakfast. Entrance to Nature Park included.

Really extraordinary but be prepared it’s really far away from shops and other restaurants.

Unfortunately in our case it was raining and the view blocked by clouds, though the staff brought us to our villa but then they took the umbrellas! The buildings are marked from the tropic climate. No big choice to eat or drink. Nobody of the staff was unfortunately able to speak English. For such expensive rates you should expect more ...

first of all, if you are not mother nature's biggest fan, i would not recommend you to stay in the resort (you can get the same scenic view if you visited the tourist spots) the front counter staff gave me an upgrade to one with a pool and a better view because i was told that foreigners are not allowed at the room i booked due to security issues with a military base nearby. hopped onto a shuttle bus up the hill (and can i just give a big thumbs up to the drivers? they are like skilled drivers in the movie except there is no drifting but just really edgy corners on the road up) i can't deny it was a long walk with flights of stairs to arrive at my room. BUT, once i tapped my card, opened the door, and saw the amazing view of the hill and bird's eye view of the city below, it was all definitely worth it. it truly is none like others and it will not be the China you thought you knew. breakfast and high tea were at the same place called the Western restaurant. buffet breakfast had a much wider variety than i had expected. there was Danish bread to braised beef tenderloin to steamed chicken feet to cereals to handmade beef noodles to smoked ham, to name a few. the bonus on top of this was definitely the breathtaking view that comes with it if you manage to get a table along the sides. (don't fret if you couldn't get a table by the sides during breakfast, come by during high tea whereby the crowd is lesser and you can most probably choose a good spot during then) i had dinner at the Thai restaurant and the food was really good! i would recommend coming around 5:30pm to catch the sunset with the yet another spectacular view (good to call and prebook the day before) you can pretty much get around the entire place by calling the hotel to arrange a minibus or ride the shuttle bus that is readily available at the tourist spots.

ok so like i said, if you are not mother nature's biggest fan, you really should not stay here. or maybe stay a couple of days, max. during the night, there were geckos the length of an adult hand luring around near my pool outside and indoors too, right above my bed. but there is a cover above my bed so you really can't see the insects luring above at all. and just my luck, a 6cm centipede fell onto my back while i was bending down to get stuff by my bed. no harm was done, just chills down my spine since then. i did not make a huge deal from these incidents because come on, i am living literally in the middle of the rainforest!

Location is great yet very touristy - the ressort is quiet yet the whole attractions around are super busy.

We left a day early because it is not a comfortable place to be. The hotel is very old - the houses, the restaurants are very old and not well maintained. Staff is untrained, partly the waiters are wearing dirty uniforms and clearly they are unhappy. The gym is broken and can not be used. The cars going around are quite dangerous. Long story short - safety, hygiene and service quality are really bad - in addition the place is so old that 5 stars and the prize tag are not appropriate.
