It was very clean and the pool was cleaned also every morning. We had a jacuzzi in our terrace and this was super cool. We faced some issues with equipment inside the room during our stay, but it was solved by the personnel. There was a good breakfast with variety of food.

We needed one extra bathrobe for our junior aged child. We asked for that and were ready even to purchase it, but our request was denied due to the hotel politics, which I in this case do not understand at all. This made us laugh and left a bad taste.

Modern and clean hotel in a good location just above the village where there is a small mainly pebbly beach with lots of restaurants and bars. We spent 2 days there, weather mixed (May) so we spent a day walking near San Jose and a day in Almeria. Large bed room, we had a sea view. Staff really friendly and helpful. Pool area nice and a small bar there. There is a small indoor heated pool but you have to pay €30 for the spa experience to use. Breakfast very good. We didn’t eat there otherwise.

Bed enormous but both it and the pillows quite firm. Balcony furniture could do with updating.

A lovely hotel with excellent facilities and helpful, efficient staff. Everyone made us feel very welcome indeed. The swimming pools were very well designed with the smaller one catering for children and the larger one was great for a quick, cooling dip but also long enough for a decent swim.

Hotel staff friendly. Although off season, some bars and food places were open Very welcoming Rooms clean and quiet Access to pool and always had sunbeds avalaible One of the best hotels I have stayed in Breakfast was good, a wide range of continental - less cooked options.

We were thrilled to stay in this lovely hotel, set in small rural town out in the remote area we wanted to explore. It was very classy, excellent room, and expansive breakfast. I cannot comment on the many facilities of the hotel, as we simply we out on the beach and didn't use the in-house offerings.

Like so many places in Spain / Portugal, frosted glass bathroom doors. Middle-of-the-night it awakens my partner.

Breakfast was ok, not for a hotel spa. No too much options and when any of the products was missing you have to ask to refilled. Bar at the swimming pool same, not much options to eat.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel surpassed our expectations. The breakfast had a wide variety of hot, cold savoury, fruits, cakes, and other foods. Too many to mention!

The water to the bath/shower was too hot and could not be lowered.

Excellent location, modern clean buildings and facilities. Very relaxed with friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing I think of

Las Negras is fantastic and location of Calagrande is great. Room was comfortable and a good size. Bathroom maybe needs a refresh but otherwise no issues.

Spa and swimming pool are great. The room was big and clean. great terrace with sufficient privacy granted.

Actually no red flags. Maybe the distance to the beach, but it seemed more than it actually was due to crazy hot weather
