Immaculately clean, king sized room on the first floor. Very spacious room with lots of storage space and comfy chairs. Excellent shower facilities and plenty of storage again. Hearty, full English breakfast with good quality ingredients. Annie was a charming host. Central but quiet location with safe off road parking for two motorcycles. Easy walking distance to Tivoli Theatre, many restaurants, bars and real ale bars, Wimborne Minster and the 88 green bus which takes you straight to Kingston Lacy.

The location was good for pubs and restaurants - all in walking distance of the guest house. It was also conveniently located for getting to Poole. Décor was beautiful and the room and bathroom was spacious. The staff were very friendly; there was no breakfast menu but you could let them know exactly what you wanted.

Not all cars would fit in the parking space provided, so we had to park on the road for one night. The parking on the road was available from 6pm to 8am and then 1 hour was permitted at all other times. The road outside the guest house was busy in the evening but reasonably quiet at night.

Great location. Very clean. The room had all the facilities we needed. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast itself was excellent.

There is limited parking off road. We were warned to avoid being blocked in. The result was we parked (Free) on the street for much of our stay. Our dog was not allowed into the dining room for breakfast. Annie did her best by setting a table in the entrance hall and serving us cheerfully and very efficiently, but it was embarrassing and uncomfortable. Their website says "We welcome pets into our bed and breakfast." If we had known about this restriction we would have booked elsewhere.

The beautiful house, in immaculate condition, is easily found, close to the town centre, and with good parking facilities. The windows and doors are all ‘as new’ and are of high quality. Walking inside you are greeted by a well decorated and furnished hall with rooms off and a stairway. Even the stairs are noteworthy, with a lovely grey stair carpet affixed with bright chromium stair rods and fixings. The dining room was also well furnished and presented. The bedroom was similarly well furnished, nicely decorated, had a superb window, and every facility including USB ports and plenty of electric sockets. The attention of the hostess befitted the quality of the residence.

There is absolutely nothing that I didn’t like.

1. I contacted the property to confirm that we would be able to bring our dog. Anne the owner responded quickly and explained that the dog would be most welcome but would not be able to enter the dining room. This was fine and I was greatful to have been advised this in advance. 2. I had to amend the booking due to a family bereavment, Anne was great and amended the booking with no fuss. 3. We arrived later than planned and Anne was very gracious with us and again no fuss. 4. We had an early departure to catch a ferry nearby in Poole. Anne provided us with an early light breakfast which again was very kind. The property is fabulous as was our room, and the location in Wimborne Minster is great. Anne is a wonderful host and I highly recommend this property to fellow travelers.

I was 100% satisifed with my stay!

The proprietor is very kind and helpful. We had to rearrange our travel plans as our car broke down and arrange for something to get delivered to the Guesthouse before our stay, which she kindly received for us, so it was there waiting in the room when we arrived. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We use Gordon House as our preferred stop now if we are travelling to and from Poole Harbour. Breakfast is great too.

There is nothing bad to say about this place.

Excellent breakfast. Vegan and gluten free options everything catered for, nothing was too much trouble. Really comfy bed, beautiful room (Room 1) and lovely shower. First floor overlooking the front of the building. West facing, so you get the sun in the afternoon/ evening. Fan in the bedroom which was useful as it was hot and sunny. Annie is a great host, very helpful and thoughtful.

A little fridge in the room would have been helpful, but there was nothing we didn't like.

Good location for town centre, restaurants (which were dog friendly) and a nearby park. Very accommodating owner, very helpful with carrying luggage (dog crate) up the stairs. Also directions to park and restaurants. Very clean, good breakfast.

Room was on the 2nd floor which I hadn't realised before I booked. Quite a noisy road the night I stayed.

Beautiful period house, wonderfully decorated and furnished, like a little stately home.. Super friendly and helpful host. Large, comfortable room all topped off with a tasty and very high quality breakfast. Ideally located in the centre of the town but peaceful at night. Parking right outside. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Under priced in my opinion.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was a fantastic find.

The location was perfect - in easy, flat walking distance to the centre of town with lots of places to eat and interesting shops. The Minster itself was in easy walking distance. We loved the Bed and Breakfast. Delightful, helpful host and the room was light and airy. The house was really beautifully presented throughout. Breakfast was just right - we were offered a full English breakfast but we wanted something lighter and we both had poached eggs, white and brown toast, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms as requested and the coffee which came in a cafetière was really good. All in all we highly recommend.
