What makes a hotel great is when the owner likes owning a hotel. It's the little things that count. He called a day in advance to give me the code since I would be arriving very late. He kept a small light on in my room because it was so dark that night. He called my room just before 10 am to ask if I wanted to come down to breakfast. At breakfast he asked if I would like him to print my receipt. He made fresh scrambled eggs for me. His parking lot was easily found with large signs on the street. These are all simple things that are not searchable in the Booking database, but they are what I look for in a hotel.

This is a very nice 3 star hotel in a historic building. The room was exceptionally clean - TOP! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great - the eggs were freshly prepared. Very friendly staff. The tram is nearby and can take you directly to the town center or to the other tourist attractions. There is also a small supermarket nearby.

The only point for us was locating the hotel car park - so check out the hotel web site first because the directions are very clearly explained (and once you know where it is it’s easy to find)

Everything was perfect, from breakfast to room to AC and staff everything exceeded my expectations. It's honestly the only hotel I can even remember that caused me so much joy.

Except for the old stairs that made me trip once this hotel is perfect.

Bathroom was very badly designed. A kettle was provided in the room but no tea, coffee or sugar- we even had to ask for cups!

The hotel's parking lot is rather small. The location is a bit far from the city centre. You need to take the car or use the tram. The reception and restaurant were both closed on a Saturday ?? (However, the staff informed us well in advance via Booking.com)

It was very noisy within the hotel itself. A bit old fashioned and the stairs are horrible. No lift!

The rooms were comfortable. A basic breakfast buffet is offered with a self serve coffee station and the option for fresh scrambled eggs if you like. Free WI-FI. Next to an excellent bakery. On site parking a plus!

On a main street so you hear the noise from cars, trucks, trolley and trash trucks loading dumpsters early in the morning.

The hotel staff is very friendly. Breakfast included many items. The rooms are spacious.
