The location was perfect, easy on and off from freeway. It was great to enjoy the Old Route 66 and explore the town. The owner of the Hotel is a fantastic person. The room we had was recently remodeled in a nice rich burgundy color, beautiful shower, tv, and other small appliances and the beds were excellent. The room was very clean and we felt very safe and comfortable staying there. Thank you all for your hospitality. If I could give you all the "stars" in the world, I would give you all of them!

Not a single thing, the accommodations were perfect.

Staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. I love the lobby and they rooms being different buildings, there's a good sense of privacy. Slightly away from town so that adds to the quiet and privacy. You can park right outside your room for minimal luggage carrying. The room was spacious (almost amusingly so) for one person and the air conditioning worked real well and was already cold out there in the desert. Everything was clean and the bed was super comfy. Bathroom was large enough to move freely, and the shower was clean and roomy. Older place that is obviously well cared for. Several different lighting options that are relaxing. The lobby building had a bar and billiards area available.

Only slight issue I had was the availability of electrical outlets to charge my phone etc. They are behind furniture so you have to look, and there isn't one by the bed.

The gentleman who checked me in was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I asked about food delivery but being Sunday there wasn't much available. There was a small bar attached, and he offered to make pizza for me. Not being comfortable in bars, I declined. Then he offered to let me take tray to my room (he didn't have carryout boxes). Excellent pizza. I'd definitely stay here again as it's on my regular travel route.

AC/heater was high on wall. Being a shorter woman I couldn't actually see the controls. However, using the available diagram I made an excellent guess and slept comfortably all night.

Mike is amazing! Arrived just before end of check in time, which is 10 PM. Lobby was vacant but found him behind the serving drinks. He dropped what he was doing to get me situated for the night. Very friendly, honestly first time I ever felt the need to review someplace. I probably would have passed it up from outside appearance, and that would have been a crying shame! If I ever find myself in Tucumcari again, will definitely be stopping here.

Restaurant isn't open, but understandable in with the state of things these days.

The room was big and very clean. Good water pressure in shower, plenty of towels.AC worked well! Has the only Bar in town with great drinks and pool table. Mike is a very nice guy and good bartender, Has the old west flavor of rte. 66,

They only had pizza to eat. No coffee in lobby but had a coffee machine in room.

Always spotlessly clean. It’s an older hotel but is maintained beautifully. Staff at the front desk extremely helpful, professional, courteous and kind. It’s obvious they care about the property and keeping it fresh. They know exactly how to welcome a weary traveler. I got a great night’s sleep after a tough day of driving. Quiet and comfortable!

Typical hotel along historic Route 66. Staying here was a trip down memory lane. very comfortable bed and hot shower. Room was spacious and very clean even if the location appeared aged. Having the bar on site was a plus.

Only negative was there was no one at the property until about 2:30 — with checkin at 3:00.

It was clean. The bed was comfortable. Really had a Route 66 vibe. For an older motel, it was well maintained: Good water pressure and temperature, refrigerator and air worked great. Extra counter space outside of the bathroom. Spacious room and would be great for families.

Although it was well maintained some cosmetic improvements could be made.

Lovely, large, accomodating room. Clean, well prepared, everything in working order. Great price/value. Everything in the room worked, and it was quiet and restful...exactly what I needed as a solo traveller.

A bit off the beaten path --with a bit of the "Hotel California" vibe -- I was never concerned for my safety, just "...on a dark desert highway ..." away from town and not very many guests for such a large prop. Would def stay there by myself again.

Great value for money stay on Route 66. Rooms are older but very spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and hosted a great night for us and the few other travellers who joined us in the on-site bar. Well worth a drive through the town to check out some historic sites!
