Breakfast was yummy! The room and decor and staff were wonderful!

Our GPS took us to your location oddly, so we did have a little bit of trouble figuring out it was you and where the entrance was. We went to the wrong doors and got out and tried them. Lol. Not a big deal at all. But maybe something to consider. Maybe a sign or signs around the property to guide people. Also, our room did have a slightly weird smell. Not like something gross. Maybe it was the scent of the chosen cleaning products. Not sure. We were only staying one night so it wasn't a big deal. Might have been rough for a full week though. :)

Great location off the 40, clean comfortable room. Good Breakfast included. Waffles, gluten free options, hot eggs,sausage, oatmeal, cereal. All good quality.

The bathroom faucet is at a crazy angle. The water force is either too strong and shoots up and gets the front of the bowl & your clothes and the floor wet or if you turn it too low it starts to flood the counter and floor. The shower door is crazy heavy . Today’s coffee was disappointing, like crayon water.

Breakfast was good, though usual fare for a hotel. Location right by I-40 was perfect. Attractive (and from what it looks like new) facilities. Very nice room and bathroom liked like right out of HGTV.

Although the bathroom looked great, functionally it was not so great. The sink drain was very slow. Also shower temp was inconsistent. When I showered around 6:30am the (hot) water temp was only lukewarm. Then when my wife showered at around 10:00am the water temp was either cold or scalding hot.

This was the second time we stayed at this property. The room, especially the bathroom, was very clean and that is important to us. Coffee and breakfast offerings were good but nothing special. Regular fare.

The alarm clock box is wired into the wall. The alarm went off at 6:00 a.m. and the directions for turning it off were on the bottom of the box. It was annoying to have to turn on a light, put on glasses, and figure out how to turn it OFF completely. The snoozed went off every 10 minutes. Not a great beginning to a very long day.

Lean and comfortable

The lobby store selling candy, snacks, drinks and frozen foods was very poorly stocked. 1 bag of M&M’s, 1 Kit Kat, only 2 bags of chips. Rows of shelves were empty. Having back stock to keep shelves full of choices would make the Fairfield Inn in Tucumcari perfect.

It was very clean and comfortable.

I was charged another $40 a month after my stay. I was never told why. If I hadn’t paid any attention this place would have made money for nothing. We even gave the manager a blanket for his kids that we bought as an extra present for Christmas!

Breakfast had a lot of good options. We felt safe in this hotel location. The pet areas are easily accessible. The beds and linens were clean and very comfortable. The cleanliness of this hotel from the hallways, to the rooms and into the lobby and food area all highly exceeded my expectations. I don't know if that is bc this is a newer hotel, but I hope that my future visits to other Fairfield Inn & Suites locations are all as positive and excellent as our stay was in Tucumcari.

I am very picky and critical of where I stay overnight and I have nothing negative to comment on our experience.

I would like to be able to upgrade my room, but I was told I had to be a member, I found out they could have offered me that at the front desk, and then upgraded my room.

The facility is easy to access, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast options were plentiful and accommodated both picky eaters and those with special dietary needs. My family was very pleased and highly recommends this hotel.

The location was fabulous. The kids loved the pool facilities. Breakfast was nice so we didn't have to leave and get on the way. Staff were polite and helpful.

Had to change rooms because of damaged shower area but were accommodated with no issues.
