The location was perfect, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good, and I especially appreciated the free coffee machine in the hall and the water available throughout the day. The pool and sauna were relaxing, and it was convenient that towels were provided.

The pool itself was quite cold, both the water and the surrounding environment.

The rooms are quite small, and there is no air conditioning. We had a room opening to west, and it was unpleasantly warm, even thou we kept the windows open all night (which causes you to wake up about 3 am by the seagulls...). The room numbering logic takes a while to open, but there seems to be a logic after all...

The location of the hotel was good and within walking distance to the centre/shops/restaurants. The standard room was adequate with good lighting. We felt the room was a bit small and basic, but the comfort of the bed made up for the size of the room, which we anyway only used to sleep in. The breakfast was superb. A huge choice of both hot and cold food. I would return to the hotel just for breakfast!!

The underground garage was good and easy to use but costs 150SEK which we thought should be included in the price.

Very central. Good breakfast. Friendly reception staff. Nice to be able to help yourself to coffee and biscuits in the reception area. Nice pool area and sauna.

Room quite small, very narrow space between end of bed and the wall, had to side step to get to the other side of the room/window.

the room does not have any air-condition, which I guess is usual in Sweden, but since the days I stayed in Kalmar were very hot, the room was very hot.

Room was hot. Couldn't open window more than a cracked. Giant pillows. Small, but serviceable bathroom. While food at breakfast excellent, room was an after thought. Some kind of repurchased ballroom, not charming at all.

Breakfast was amazing! Such a big selection and included in the price. Location was great, right in the centre walking distance from the station. Free coffee and cookies were constantly available. Staff were so nice and helpful.

Nothing really. The 1970s building looked a bit drab and brown but that's not a big complaint.

A little bit noisy in our room on the main entrance side of the hotel with lorry deliveries very early each morning

The hotel is situated very close to the Stora Torget. Several pubs and restaurants are available nearby, which is very good. Free parking lot on the weekends is available three blocks away.

The sauna is located at the men's shower area. This makes it uncomfortable and allow people to use the shower for other purposes, even for couples, as my boyfriend saw and heard. The room is quite tight. So maybe the bed could be arranged in a more functional way.

Town centre and a couple of minutes walk from the sea and small town beach. Walking distance to food, water, shops and train/ bus station. Helpful staff, good facilities. We enjoyed the pool and the gym Sauna is not on all day so need to time it if you want to use sauna. We went in winter and it was rather quiet, especially during the week.

Extra single bed for our child could have been more comfy, but it was as described when we booked.
