The location of this hotel is fantastic, in the central part of Kalmar, very close to the station, great food options around, primarily Asian. We took a train from Gothenburg, reaching the hotel was a cakewalk (only 7mins by walk), we got an early check-in even in peak summer- that's a brownie! Breakfast was superb with a huge spread. Rooms were not that big but enough for a couple. Cleanliness was on point inside the room.

The windows need to be cleaned well, there are spider webs outside the window (our room was facing the road).

Extremely helpful staff, we had an issue with a passport left behind at a rental car office in another city and Jeanette did her best to help. The hotel has many amenities including a fridge, kettle in room, large shower with a door, USB/C connections beside each bed site table, comfortable bed and the location was most central. Free community car parking nearby. Extensive breakfast variety. Coffee unfortunately out of an earn but ok.( machines these days make excellent coffee) Would definitely stay again.

The position was GREAT, in the city center, 5 minutes from the station. The breakfast was huge! And me as a vegan I have appreciate vegans options like: vegan butter, cheese and ham. THANKS.

The room was a little bit dusty, specially the desk, lamp and a little shelf. But the toilet was clean, which is super important to me. There is this rule that I appreciate about towels, basically if the towels are still clean we should have put them on a hanger in the toilet’s door, otherwise they would have change them. One day one little towel fell in the floor and I wanted to change it so I left it on the bed but they haven’t change it. And the day after they didn’t make the room, which it was quite annoying to make the bed at 8pm in a 4 stars hotel. But we spoke with the person at the reception and even if she asked 3 times if we put the correct informations hanging at the door (please, tidy my room), the day after they cleaned it. So in general I am satisfied!

Location. Very good breakfast

Without the breakfast I would only give the room a 7. It's showing its age. No USB outlets for instance. Bathroom was small, and the toilet seat was flimsy . . No real closet. No real place to put a second suitcase. Curtains weren’t thick enough to keep out the sunlight in the early morning. Windows not solid enough to keep out street noise. . Bedside tables were very small. Not air conditioned.

We were in Kalmar for the IronMan competition and the hotel was ideally placed for all aspects of the race. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was more than adequate. The room was clean and the small additions, such as the chocolate on the beds, were welcome and generous. We could easily compare this facility with the Best Western Plus Copenhagen Airport that we stayed in on either side of our stay in Kalmar, and this facility in Kalmarwas better by far in every category.

The location of the hotel was perfect, close to everything within 5-10 minute walk and yet away from too much hustle and bustle. The rooms were clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast was exceptional, a very good selection.

The car park was a little tight for us. We were in an estate rental car and found it difficult to park when we arrived as the car park was full.

It's in the cenral of Kalmar and close to everything. Second stay here and it was as good as the first time. Great breakfast and clean rooms.

A nightclub on the opposit side of the streat. But that only effects the rooms along the street. First stay we had was on the opposite side of the hallway and very silent.

Very clean room, comfortable bed. Quiet. Great breakfast. Amazing helpful staff at the reception. Was possible to borrow a phone charger since I forgot mine.

Best western certainly aren't cheap, but at least it is also a very good hotel. Would be good if there was a more summery duvet alternative.

Excellent location, very friendly helpful & efficient staff. As a solo female traveller I felt safe & well provided for at all times. Nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was amazing and the bar area pleasant, to spend an evening in. Would highly recommend.

Everything was excellent

All the staff we encountered - front desk, breakfast room personnel and even our room maid were so friendly and giving great customer service. Room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was the most luxurious we have encountered in 30 years of travelling as a couple - fantastic selection! Thank you!

No improvements needed. Top of the line hotel experience. Great job by all!
