great location

no shampoo or conditioner in my room and the blowdryer did not work, which I did not realize until I had already gotten in the shower. There was no time to rectify before I had to be ready for my job (reason for the trip), so I had to go with wet knotted hair. Great staff totally fixed this problem when reported later that day and even comped a drink while I waited for housekeeping to help. All staff was lovely... I just wish it had been checked initially.

Location was nice in that it is close to a lot of stores and restaurants. Hotel itself has a lot of nice amenities and is very nice inside. Very spacious room and large bathroom.

Entrance from parking lot after hours is quite a walk. Room looked very nice at first, but could use some TLC and the TV was pretty small for a large room.

The hotel front desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly. He gave us restaurant suggestions, told of the farmers' market fair down on the river front, and was able to direct us to some antique stores. We chose to eat at Duck City Bistro. It was within walking distance. The food was great, and it was more of an experience than just dinner. The hotel breakfast was delicious and worth the money. The whole weekend was lovely and romantic.

We had nothing to complain about.

The hotel is historic and has an Old Hollywood Glamour feel to it. It’s beautiful. I enjoyed the added security in the elevator. Front desk staff was exceptional. Check- in was smooth and staff arranged to bring champagne and glasses up to the room at a later time. It added to the experience!

The only complaint was that we had to pay for access to parking.

This is a beautiful property and located in a great area. We had a standard double room that had a couch, TV, refrigerator and the beds and bathroom were in another room. The room was classy and comfortable. Everyone both staff and guests are very friendly. I stayed her in August and then again on 12/30 when it was decorated for Christmas. A very welcoming feel to the hotel itself.

It’s and older property, but honestly, what took away from it a bit was the wallpaper peeling back in hallways and the room. Seeing the property is so pretty and has such a great feel when you are in it, that minor, possible easy fix would make a huge difference and polish the look of the hotel.

The building and history is beautiful and fascinating .

Our first room had dirty bathroom vents, the fridge did not work, and a dirty towel was found in closet. We were given a new room. Fridge was not plugged in. While moving the cabinet out to plug it in noted lots of trash/dust behind the cabinet. It was a cleanliness issue for me.

Very comfortable and easy to walk to The Adler! Great location. Good bistro close by.

I wish a breakfast was included for this price! Or atleast hot coffee and tea available in the morning. Please do not have a Haagen-daz freezer with no ice cream available 🙂

Stylish and elegant entrance; big and very comfortable room; good shower and excellent bath for lying in and reading a book; chaise longue was a treat for flopping about on; food in the restaurant was excellent. Sadly the pool was closed for renovation. Do visit the excellent Figge Art Museum just down the road if you have an hour or two.

Really gorgeous hotel in a great location. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. There was a noisy running toilet in the room, but we were able to move rooms right away.

Very beautiful hotel, great restaurant on site, Cafe was great, has a bowling alley and game riom/bar in basement that was a great option.

Would of liked better comforter/blanket on the bed.
