Exceptionally friendly staff - they were really kind, offered advice on places to visit around and very exceptionally forthcoming. The room had plenty of room for a single room, and was very clean, calm and comfortable. Very modern, too - which I would not have expected from the outside. The gym is small but well equipped and the sauna is splendid.

Great hotel. Rooms large and very clean. Staff friendly and happy- receptionist great. Offered English dinner menu! That does not happen often. All just perfect for our stop.

Location but easy parking in city so no real issue. Quiet and allowed a great sleep! Park opposite for walk.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice. Modern bathroom with a great shower. Modern fittings and good lighting in bedroom with thought given for bedside lamp with reading light. Very comfortable. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Peaceful location.

I would have liked a bigger bathroom. Also a topper on the mattress would make the bed more comfortable.

It is pleasure to stay in a place where you not a number. They looked after us properly especially the man on reception. But the real praise is for the lady who sorted everything for us in the restaurant.She listened carefully, , gave us some really good advice on the wine options and was determined to ensure we had a lovely evening. As it turned out the food was correct in presentation and beautifully cooked. This is place is nowvon our trip list

Only one thing. The quilted bathroom towels. Only because they were rather small.

Excellent parking. Friendly greeting. Easy walk riverside walk to town. Bonus of small spa in basement. Breakfast was varied and filling. Main restaurant serves a top class dinner. Perfectly situated for those wanting to tour the battlefield of Minden.

All. The service, the room, the breakfast... The people working in the hotel is super kind, the room is big and super clean. Breakfast was very very good. 100%recommended, I will repeat.

We only stayed one night. The room was clean but had no air conditioning or fan and it was quite warm the night we stayed there. The restaurant, however, was a complete surprise. The food was absolutely amazing!! I would stay there again just for the food.

It is an older hotel and the rooms are dated, but it was clean. It would have been nice to have a fan or air conditioning as it was very warm in our room.

Staff very helpful and friendly. We were on motorbikes they opened a garage at rear and allowed us to park in garage overnight. Had breakfast and evening meal both very good, there was a good choice at breakfast.

Room equipment and comfort level of the bed rather average, very very tiny bathroom. In terms of that quality/price ratio is not really beneficial.
