welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and great vibe in cafe/bar. the real surprise was the wonderful restaurant, fantastic views from the terrace and superb food, we ate so much it was all perfect. even on a Tuesday evening the place was bustling. lovely terrace outside the bedrooms. rather sorry we only booked for 1 night. we will return.

our sat nav took us to the wrong village, but found this hidden gem eventually.

Good location

Very little choice locally for twin beds. Why oh why do hotels not have more twin bed rooms???? We were 6 guys on motorbikes - we don't want share a double bed

Quirky room but had everything you need plus a terrace!. Fabulous views from the hotel towards the Pyrenees. Super restaurant (very popular worth reserving table for dinner). Breakfast nice but basic French / Basque, for the money could be a bit more. Nice staff. Dog friendly. Parking OK. NB Problem with GPS for the address, we'd never have found it without a kind local who drove there so we could follow! Just put the village centre into Tom Tom and it will get you there (without using the street name, which took us 5km away!!)

The restaurant

Noisy music downstairs in the bar at night. There didn't seem to be enough storage space and we negotiated past boxes of whiskey bottles, water bottles, etc which gave the hotel an untidy feel and look. The 'wet' room became a flooded room

Wonderful view, although not from room unfortunately. Plenty of good safe parking. Quiet, peaceful village.

Hand basin was blocked. Sliding doors don't slide. End panel falling off door. Room needs some maintenance work. Full and dirty ash tray on balcony outside room.
