The hotel had authentic old Italian charm. That being said the rooms are a bit dated but clean and overall comfortable. Pool and beach areas are beautiful. Quiet area.

Poor service at the pool. The restaurant has a nice view of the sea but that’s about all. Not a great meal. Breakfast is ok. They also seem to want to charge you for everything they can - even costs 10 euro to bring a bucket of ice to your room and they don’t provide any water. It would be very simple for this hotel to improve small services like this and really elevate the experience. Town itself is also lacking.

We arrived early due to a morning Ryanair flight, and the staff immediately took care of our luggage, parked our car (free parking, which is rare!), and showed us to the lunch area while preparing our room ahead of schedule. This was thanks to the hotel’s professional communication before our stay. They prioritized our room’s cleaning based on our flight details, which we deeply appreciated after a long travel day. The hotel itself is stunning, with a breathtaking ocean view and a sandy beach, unlike many nearby beaches that are rocky. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and we were amazed that there wasn’t a trace of sand anywhere despite guests constantly coming from the beach. The beach is just a minute’s walk away, with padded lounge chairs and adjustable sunshades. While front-row chairs cost €30 each, all rows are close to the water, so we didn’t feel the need to upgrade. We loved the infinity pool and relaxation area. The hotel’s decor is tasteful and elegant, never overdone. After a few days of rest, we booked a boat tour through the hotel with Helios Turismo. We chose the larger boat departing at 8 AM (€80 per person), which included pick up/drop off lunch, drinks, and visits to three beaches over five hours. It was a fantastic experience and a highlight of our trip. We forgot to request fresh towels before our boat tour, but the front desk quickly provided them before our pickup. The dedication and high standards of every team member was evident. We would absolutely return and recommend La Bitta Hotel to anyone seeking peace of mind, modern amenities, and exceptional service.

One small confusion: we believed our reservation included daily one-hour massages, but that wasn’t the case. The wording could be clearer to avoid misunderstandings. We opted for the half board package, mainly because we didn’t feel comfortable driving at night in Arbatax due to low lighting and unfamiliar roads. At €80 per person, it included a buffet and à la carte menu that changed nightly. The food and service were excellent, though next time we might try the hotel’s main restaurant or explore local options. The half board dining room felt more like a cruise ship restaurant, while the main restaurant offers live entertainment and ocean views.

The hotel is very well situated almost exactly half way between Olbia in the North and Cagliary in the South. It has its own private sandy beach which is well policed and the sea is approximately 25 metres from the restaurant so the views at breakfast are amazing. Within half an hour's walk there is a horseshoe shaped sandy beach which must be 2 miles long and when we were there at the end of April there were no more than 20 on it. The pool area is also very clean and tidy with an infinity pool and a spa area as well. Definitely an advantage to hire a car as there is plenty to see in the area but you have to negotiate a lot of hair pin bends for the best views. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. The staff at this hotel are very good and can't do enough to help. Parking is free straight outside the front door. Breakfast is fantastic.

They went to the trouble of installing bidet toilets in every room. Unfortunately ours didn't work and couldn't be fixed. We ate twice in the hotel and although the food was good, it was a bit over-priced and it could have been a lot hotter on both occasions. Apart from that minor niggle it can't be faulted.

Amazing terrace with a great view. We loved having breakfast while looking at the beach and listening to the waves. The sandy beach has a lot of sun loungers, so you usually find a good spot to relax there (but note that the first row is reserved for certain rooms or for an additional cost). The restaurant at the hotel is quite good and gets very busy every night.

If you don't have a car, getting around can be difficult. There are only very few buses (running two or three times day) and only three taxis in the whole town. But the staff is very helpful with organising transfers etc.

Everyone that worked at La Bitta were excellent, from the Front of House to the lifeguards to the many waiters in the restaurant. We loved our deluxe sea front room, stunning views and we loved the outdoor jacuzzi. The sea was clean, clear water, and even in the height of autumn having the private beach meant it didn’t feel overcrowded.

It was convenient having the restaurant on site, particularly for lunch when spending the day at the beach but we were a little underwhelmed by some of the dishes we ordered and had to venture out to other restaurants for dinner to give us more options to eat something else.

Full marks for the room up-grade (from a garden-view to a sea view room) - it was most appreciated and the view from the window was truly amazing! There is also a beautiful sea view from the restaurant and the food was excellent. Free parking, free sunbeds on what seems to be the hotel's private beach and good wifi.

The shower in the room was very small but nothing can be done about that! Although the not inconsiderable charge to sit on front-row sunbeds might be a good idea in peak season in order to stop the dawn raids and to earn additional income, I would suggest it should be waived in the off-season. There were less than a dozen of us on the beach on the day we visited in September, all of course in the second row, and that of course not only looked a bit odd but visibly showed the hotel as being a bit mean. It would be a worthwhile gesture for sure.

This hotel is 10/10 in the area. Located in a beautiful quiet bay, with perfect white sand. The beach is private, where the drinks are served upon request. The territory of the hotel is very well maintained and cleaned daily. The breakfast is delicious and served in gorgeous dishes. The rooms look like they have been just renovated, new and super clean (I’m especially picky on that part). The team is kind and very welcome, the service overall is great. Overall, I cant recommend this hotel enough. We would definitely come back if in that area again.

Great facilities, service and staff. Really good cleaning and AC worked perfectly. The massage can I also recommend and do the day boat trip to the even nicer beaches!

Good food, but I would say better off eating at other restaurants in the area. But nice if you prioritize a fabulous sea view and “fine” dining experience in general! Food and wine a bit overpriced to what you get.

Breakfast was fantastic. The room, the whole hotel and structure is very beautiful. The view is super nice also, and there are dedicate chairs on the beach. The restaurant is also great, and the staff is lovely. The attendant also shared some tips of hiking and beach close by.

Only issue we had, the spa was not available. After requesting for it, the proposed some massage to replace the unavailability of the spa. The massage was 10 of 10. During the checkout, by a miscommunication they charged the massage, but it was clarified and solved.

Excellent location and view towards see, top-notch service (with special kudos to Claudia at the reception, who gave us useful advice on boat trips to wonderful beaches in the region, and Claudia at the hotel’s restaurant, whose energy and enthusiasm were contagious.

Just a bit more of flexibility with the checkout (10.30am looks a bit too early) would be most appreciated. But no big deal in this respect.
