Amazing location with a beautiful view from the room. (Can be a bit noisy on weekends, but the view is stunning.) Excellent restaurants right next to the hotel. Outstanding staff at the reception, luggage and parking assistance, breakfast service, and room service—everyone does a fantastic job making the stay truly pleasant. Delicious breakfast! Reliable, password-secured Wi-Fi, which is much better than the typical unsecured hotel Wi-Fi. The hotel itself looks stylish and blends well with the surrounding area. It's a small hotel, so everything feels more personal, which is why I would always choose it over a large complex! It´s more quality over quantity!

Although it’s listed as a four-star hotel, I honestly believe it deserves five. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere relaxing, and everything was organized perfectly. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this is truly one of the best a hidden gem that feels like a five-star experience. Gaia at the front desk was a true professional. Incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we needed something. Her attitude set the tone for a wonderful stay. We will definitely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I Travelled to Koper for Business for a 4th time but first time at The Grand Hotel. I also had a guest staying for the latter part of my stay. The Hotel is very 'Grand' having all the esteem of a small palace. From walking in the door, to getting to your room the gravitas of your choice of stay is a nice feeling. The room I stayed in had a great flat screen to connect my phone to and the WIFI was accessible anywhere in the hotel, not once did it buffer on youtube. The breakfast buffet was delicious and abundant with freshly made eggs on request. A great start to the day. I also had the privilege of Valet parking, this definitely made coming and going a seamless event. The evening restaurant with a discount from your stay will be a pleasant surprise to have onsite fine dining akin to a luxury city centre Michelin star foodery. Excellent service, excellent presentation, and delectable taste for a reasonable price. The Hotel is situated front and centre to the whole sea front allowing you to walk to nearly any attraction of Koper. Lastly the staff. The staff were at every moment, genuine, friendly, eager to help, well presented and a fine cherry on top of the ornate pastry package that is the Grand Hotel. The front of house team and breakfast service members were especially friendly giving a relaxed feel to every morning and request. Would and will 100% stay again!

Nothing. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and the price is reflective of what is provided but definitely, I felt I got 'bang for my buck' at the grand. The extra cost = Many extra benefits.

It was a fantastic trip. The accommodation was simply indescribable. In addition, we really enjoyed the view of the sea in front of us on the roof terrace. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The breakfast was completely adequate, plentiful and filling. We eat a lot of vegetables/fruits, one of us also has a milk intolerance, but we still had a rich, filling breakfast every morning. The workers there did their job professionally, I especially liked the way the eggs were prepared upon request. The workers are very good! The room was gorgeous, fully equipped. The view from our window to the promenade was also magnificent. The bed was comfortable, cleanliness, order everywhere. The parking system was great for us, so we didn't have to look for a parking space. The receptionists were smiling, kind, very helpful, and the parting gift from the hotel was also very considerate. It was a very positive experience for us. Koper has a lot to discover and beauty for the more routine and novice beach visitors, for which the hotel provides a comfortable rest that meets all needs. We are sure that we will return to Grand Koper in the future! We wholeheartedly recommend it to others!

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and had a very positive experience. What stood out most was the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, who always greeted us warmly and created a welcoming atmosphere. We also appreciated being able to store our racing bikes in a dedicated room, which was very convenient. The hotel’s own restaurant is also highly recommended – the pizzas were excellent. The location is simply perfect, right in the heart of the city.

Room is quite nice and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and amazing. Staff was very polite and nice. Overall, good hotel on a god spot of the city.

I think the hotel should not be classified as a 4 stars hotel. Outside of the room, there is no space for the guests and the room itself The lobby was crowded with stuff for sale (clothes, plants, candles... everything) and made the environment feel crowded and uncomfortable. I was expecting more from an expensive hotel classified as 4 stars.

It’s a beautiful and restored hotel, it feels luxurious yet somehow still delivers those nostalgic Yugo vibes, the heydays! It’s perfectly situated, lovely walk to a beach, very accessible by car. I only wish we had more time here. The staff were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was great as well!

Nothing not to like about this place. The room did have a strong bathroom smell - not from the lack of cleanliness of it but from the plumbing - which aired out with the use of the fan and opening a window, it was off putting at first but once we got the air flowing it went away. We would have asked to change rooms but it was the last one left and we really loved the hotel otherwise.

Everthing was great. Room was Nice, always cleaned up so nicely also in the case we were there with two dogs. Dog bed was ready in the Room when we arrived. Reception staff was so kind and always helpful. Parking was handled nicely. We could park in front of the hotel in the centre for couple minutes and then they parked our car for us. Breakfast was also tasty as well the Restaurant in the hotel.

There are no words to express how grateful I am to the entire staff of Grand Koper Hotel, especially Ivana - you are amazing person, right person on a right place and fingers crossed for you that one day you will have your own hotel. Everyone was very helpful, the hotel was clean and cozy. Location is perfect with a sea view. Excellent breakfast, very dog friendly place. I recommend everyone and hopefully one day I will be back.

Great location, public parking nearby that is free on weekends, very spacious room, great sea view and friendly staff.

The floor in the room is tiled, so it was cold and the hotel slippers fell apart on the first day. The heating in the bathroom didn’t work at all, and considering it’s November, it was too cold for a shower. The rooms are decorated in an old-fashioned style. The breakfast was average and same every day. Dinner was good but took too long (it’s not a buffet). The price is just too high for what the hotel offers.
