B&B Torrebianca is located in a historical building in which in 1797 Napoleon Bonaparte stayed during his visit in Triest. The exact information you can get from the book available at the reception. When you arrive you can shortly park your car on the left side of the street (one way street) and look for huge doors to this building. Loud-speaking system is on the left side. Be assertive as you can really doubt if the GPS system has guided you to a proper place. The apartment located on the 2nd floor is accessible by the elevator. The room which we had was very large, with convenient sofa, clean bathroom. The windows are into the courtyard so in the evening it is quite inside while it is quite noisy on the Triest streets. The location is great – just 50m from the main Triest square – Plaza of Unity. Finding a parking in Italy city is always a challenge, but in the evening several places marked with blue line (for tourists) were available. The hosts was extremely friendly and gave us several good suggestions re sightseeing of Triest. In case I arrive Triest once again I would prefer to stay in this location once again 😊

The location was perfect for our requirements. The meeting for our tour guide was just around the corner. There’s a supermarket close by for all your groceries. Simply cross the narrow street in front of the property and then walk through a short alleyway. Here you will find not only the supermarket but the square full of tourist gems and loads of various shops. This beautiful Venetian property is well over a 100 years old and is in great condition considering the age. We were Impressed that the owner fixed the blocked shower promptly,once notified. His communication via email was great and very much appreciated.

A couple of minor details in one of the bedrooms of which the owner had under control as they required time to fix.

This place was perfect!!! A lovely, large apartment, very clean and with many amenities. Less than 2 minutes walk from every possible thing you need - ATM, grocery store, piazza with restaurants and stores, bus stop, and the main meeting point for tours. Easily walkable to/from the cruise port with suitcases. One floor up from the street but at the back, so quiet at night. We stayed for four nights and wished we had booked for a longer time. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful, and loves his city! We will be back!

The location was great...right downtown, near the water, restaurants and sites. The host was nice, met us at the apartment and gave us suggestions of places to go...he even made reservations at (what turned out to be) a wonderful restaurant! The apartment was roomy and very clean. The parking garage was within walking distance and we were given a 10% off coupon (reasonable rate of $22/day).

We didn't like having to check in at 6pm, thought that was unreasonably late. WiFi never worked (we could have called the host but it wasn't critical).

The accommodation was excellent and our host Stefano friendly and helpful. Our room was well appointed and nicely furnished. Thank you for a great two days. The location is spot on and within walking distance of the cruise port and the hop on hop off bus right in the centre of the city but we heard no noise whatsoever.

Nothing of any consequence. We are not used to sweet cake for breakfast and asked for fruit but it was not forthcoming. Also I would have appreciated a face washer and tissues in the bathroom.

I loved my stay at Torrebianca. The host was brilliant and always available if needed. The dual apartment foyer provides for maps, tourism information and other interesting things. The breakfast room was lovely, and my host went out of his way to make sure there was more than enough to eat. The room was comfortable. My room had an external bathroom (no ensuite) but I knew that when I booked it. The other room has an ensuite. It was not a problem for me. There were other guests, but I never saw them other than at breakfast. The location was absolutely brilliant in the little street behind the main piazza. I was there for a couple of days before getting on a cruise. The cruise ship port is 5 minutes walk. Everything is easy to get to from the Torrebianca.

Location was excellent. Close to port, Piazza Unita d'Italia (main plaza), and transportation. This was perfect for us as the excursion we had left from a nearby hotel and we arrived from a cruise. Private apartment owned by Stefano who was very solicitous in accommodating our early morning schedule with a good breakfast. As you might notice from all the reviews, they are very positive for Stefano. Based on his assistance to us, we agree.

As it is a private apartment, it was somewhat difficult for us to find. If you like the atmosphere of a hotel and having someone available 24 hours, then you will probably not want to stay here. Basic accommodations but bedroom was large for European hotels. Nothing elaborate but clean and comfortable, which for us, is all we needed.

Standard-type apartment in an old, but quaint building in the center of the city Triëste, close to the central plaza and the waterfront. Impressive hall as you enter the building. Nice city walks and cafés, restaurants, gelateria within walking distance.

Although announced as B&B, this is just an apartment-type accomodation. No breakfast available, like in hotels, not included in the price. Breakfast can be had at walking distances at surrounding hotels or cafés, but at somewhat higher prices than usual at hotels. Also no parking for our motorbike at the accomodation itself. We had to park (safely) in a public parking a bit further up the street (but we were informed of that in advance), or openly in the street.

The location was brilliant, within walking distance to all attractions. Stefano is an exceptional host. My husbands breakfast was very good and he catered to my coeliac needs with the most delicious pastries bought fresh every morning from a specialist gluten free shop. I cannot fault the property. Thank you Stefano!

The location was amazing. It's very close to the main square and old town which has lots of good restaurants. Stefano, the host was very helpful and informative. The room was comfortable and I loved the decor.

The bathroom was separate to the bedroom which I wasn't aware of at the time of booking but it was reserved for our personal use. It was a bit awkward having to walk through the communal space to access it.
