The name is matching, there is a beautiful garden with huge old trees. We were welcomed by an extraordinary friendly person who gave us the keys, showed us around and provided a lot of information what to do and where to go. The appartment had a small kitchen with all necessary equipment provided. Bedsheets and towels good and clean. Whole appartment not too big, but just right for two adults and two children. Huge modern TV and good WiFi. Town center and beach can be reached by a short walk down some stairs and ramps, the way back up from the sea is a bit exhausting at times. By car it is like two minutes. Looking at the garden from our terrace was relaxing and traffic on the road could be noticed but was never loud.

The fan in the bathroom did run but did not move sufficient air, so it was always a bit too humid inside the bathroom. At some places the seams between tiles were a bit darkened, so this issue seems to be there for a while. While everything else was very clean, this was the only thing worth a note. Not enough towel hangers for four people.

Apartment no.7. Good localization, what i really liked is two separate bedrooms so you can do the morning activities without waking up other. Nice, clean apartment with terrace. Don't expect privacy - there are other balconies (above) ora terraces (on left or right side). But it didn't bother me at all. Apartment is not far from centre of Porotoroź so you don't need a car to go to the city. In max 15min range you have plenty of shops and restaurants.

Sunbeds should be avaliable. Not very effective ventillation in bathroom (no window). And beware of ants :)

We spent a comfy night in appartement number 3. The place was spotless everywhere. Attention to details : nets for mosquitos, little blanket and bowl for my dog , smart plugs for charging the phone next to each bed side, plenty of cupboards to put away your clothes, mini kitchen equiped , quality shower gels and soaps... The location is superb , 5 min walk from sea shore and famous Cacao ice cream / coffee bar. Free parking spot and very warm welcome from Matic at reception. We will for sure come again. It was 4 of us and we slept very good as it is very quiet AND beds are perfect, not too soft , not too hard with good pillows. There was a filter coffee machine , I will take some classical powder coffee and filters for next time. Mini fridge was very convenient size to store a lot if needed. Very spacious walk in shower.

Can't find anything to dislike.

The service is very friendly, it was my birthday and i got good wishes and a bottle of wine, thank you for this nice gesture. It is very dog friendly. We like the appartment, it is cosy and modern.

We grilled, and the grill didn´t function very good. Maybe you put some more lights in the garden, for example on the way to the parking at the back side, thank you! And the chairs in the kitchen are very loud when you move them, maybe you put something on it so it makes less noise:-)

Great location. You can park here (and avoid the expensive parkings in Portorož) and access the beach and Portorož center in ~5 mins walk. From here you can also walk to Piran or Strunjan or take a bus. The apartment was great. Perfectly clean, functional and have a nice balcony. Also very well furnished if you want to cook. I also really liked the decoration. The staff was really nice and can give you good information. I will definitely book it again if I’m back in the area.

We had a nice stay at Forgotten Garden in Portoroz. I appreciated the nicely designed apartment and the nice surroundings of the house - there was a small terrace belonging to the apartment, and a larger shared garden. The apartment was well equipped and the beds quite comfortable. The area was quite peaceful at night, so we could sleep just fine. The staff was nice and helpful.

There are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind if you don’t have great mobility or if you have children or pets. The apartment had some areas in which the overall maintenance and cleaning was not great (dirt and rust in the shower, stained sofa, etc). A dishwasher would have been quite useful.

We were upgraded by the hotel to a studio with sea view. The studio was great, a very decent size. The balcony a little on the small side but ok to sit 2 people and a table. There also was one of those pull outs for towels on the balcony. Enough cutlery and dishes in the kitchen, too. The air conditioning worked really well, really quiet. Staff were friendly

It’s not far to the beach or supermarket, about 10 mins walk but on the return the steps are steep. Also, whilst the immediate road is quiet, noise travels up from the road below that. It was ok, though

Everything was just great. Free parking, very helpful staff, nice studio, enough place for two adults, very clean, with nice balcony. Good location, not far from beach and restaurants, but many stairs for the short way. Fantastic place if you have a dog. Just next to the apartment there is little park just for dogs. We were here out of the season, so it was fantastic, not crowded. Recommend especially to dog owners.

Great location in short walking distance (via stairs) to the central beach and convenience store. Good dedicated parking and nice balcony. Well-equipped kitchen and good furniture. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff with good recommendations to get out and about.

Bathroom is not huge and admittedly for a family of five (especially with older kids) the apartment might be somewhat small.

Great location, comfortable balconies overlooking a superb garden, friendly staff, easy parking, super clean apartments. We arrived very late on motorcycles and we were given photo illustrated check in instructions that made it very easy.

Years ago, breakfast was available in the garden, which was exceptional. Unfortunately this has not been ever since, but we were given lots of other options for breakfast by the staff.
