Highly Recommended. We had a wonderful stay here in late July. Everything was lovely. A beautiful building, lovely breakfast, all the facilities we could need. Lovely to have the flexibility of the suite, which was fully serviced by a lovely lady every day, but with all the facilities of the hotel. The best thing about our stay was the staff. They were so charming, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I particularly appreciated the reception as we were delayed and arrived very late, well after midnight. When i contacted the hotel en route, they replied immediately which was very reasuring. Will certainly be back and would recommend to anyone coming to visit beautiful Trieste.

Superb location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Stunning view from the 5th floor apartment. Washing machine and kitchen equipment in a hotel like setting was really great. If there was a swimming pool for kids, we'd stay for much longer :) We had a lot of bags and we were allowed to use hotel reserved parking to unpack for a little longer than 30 minutes. Nearby public parking is quite convenient.

Some equipment was quite old and air conditioning could be a little more effective. No cutting board and wine opener in a kitchen. The apartments are in a different building than a lobby and there is one flight of stairs before you reach an elevator, this may be problematic for some people.

Very nice place in the center of Trieste. Beautiful building. Palace Suite is like an apartment in a hotel so you get the best of both. We had a whole kitchen and also a washing machine. We didnt use but it is nice to have it. All in all, very nice hotel. Room was quite big.

Well, the only problem we had with the hotel was the valet service. We waited almost 2 hours for our car. We have small kids so it was a problem for us. The staff was trying to help, the brought us water, coffee and they said that they will refund the valet fee.

Large apartments in the very center of the city in a beautiful building. The apartments have two levels with a staircase: on the first floor there is a mini-kitchen, the first bedroom and a bathroom, on the second floor there is a second bedroom and another bathroom. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and a small stove. Delicious breakfasts from the menu are served at the Continental Hotel, which is located next door in the neighboring house. We parked in the underground parking not far from the apartment (Via del Teatro Romano, 16). When checking out, don't forget to ask the hotel for a discount coupon to pay for parking.

Suites are spacious and modern with a separate living/dining room/kitchenette. Very comfortable and relaxing. Great bathroom and bedding. Beautiful quiet building and balconies in a popular section of the city center. Easy walk to everything. All staff were great, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. Roomy elevator. Very easy check-in at the adjacent Continental Hotel where breakfast was also served via pre-set menu. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and glasses for the one night we decided to dine in. We feel restored after this little trip to Trieste and we fell it is in part due to the comfort of the room. Great A/C!

I would say that breakfast could use a little more variety but it was adequate with fresh bread and the room it was served in was elegant with perfect service.

The hotel is located right in the city center, on a charming pedestrian street surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and trendy shops. There is free parking nearby, and you can also leave your car and keys with the hotel valet. Breakfast is chosen from a menu with a good variety of options. The room was amazing – spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a separate kitchen and a large bathroom with two sinks. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everything was modern and brand new.

It is a great location, there was a good elevator, and the breakfast was very good. We also ate dinner in the Modernist hotel which is the sister hotel.

They sent us a note saying to check in at the Continentalle Hotel which is a sister property. When we finally found this hotel it was boarded up. If we did not have a local phone with us so we could call them we would never have known to check in at Modernist Hotel, which is the check-in hotel. After check in and delivering us to our room they provided no information on website, or how to use phone in room so after reaching our hotel and room we had to go back to main hotel again. Also it never said in the the write up that everything would be done in a different hotel including our breakfast. Only provided coffee in room first day.

While we appreciate the concept of a fully serviced breakfast - there was no self service element apart from selecting a piece of fruit - there were not enough staff to be effective. They tried their best but we were frequently left waiting for food / drinks ordered and having to ask 2 or 3 times for teas & coffees ; butter & jams never arrived with the bakery basket - we always had to ask for them , and the pre prepared, uniform bakery baskets contained items we didn’t want and not enough of items we did want.An element of self service would be a good compromise and deliver a more satisfying experience for staff and guests.

Location, washing machine and having a small kitchen to use was amazing

There was not much we didn’t like, if I had to say one thing my husband filled the kettle which is attached to a tray and as it boiled it leaked and water went everywhere lucky he didn’t get electrocuted. We told the staff in the hotel across the road and it was fixed the next day. The were very prompt and we had no other issues

We liked the breakfast selections that were offered. In other places that we stayed on this trip the breakfast was offered as a buffet which we preferred to placing orders with the wait staff. Sometimes the waiting time was a little long or the order was misunderstood.zt

The shower in our room was very difficult to operate. I’m sure it was great when it was new but when things become worn with use overtime they should be replaced. We very much liked our room and its location. It was the quietest hotel room we have ever had.
