Location was fantastic. Easy 15min walk into Piran along the coast path. Hotel is right on the seafront so you are just feet from the sea. Staff all very friendly. Room cleaned every day. Maintenance was also good. The shower head fell off our shower which we reported at breakfast and by the time we got back to the room after breakfast it waa already fixed. Free beach towel service every day. Left luggage storage which is always good.

Not much choice at breakfast plus because it rained and the outside seating was unavailable this made the inside breakfast area was very busy and some people had to wait for a seat. Because the hotel is on a north facing beach the rooms get little sun for most of the day. The beach huts I noticed got no sun till late afternoon. Rooms a bit outdated with limited storage space. We ended up having to leave most of our stuff in the suitcases because we had nowhere to unpack it. Walls are also thin so you can hear next door talking so you are afraid to put the tv on too loud at night Hotel was nice but feel it was overpriced for what you got for your money.

Good location. It’s only 20 min walk to Piran by the marvellous path along the sea. Friendly staff who is really trying to resolve many of your problems in hotel. We liked the beach. There weren’t so many people so we could simply rent ease a sun bad with umbrella(7+7 euros per day) or a cabana (30 euros per day). Even if you don’t rent anything they give you a towel for free and you can just stay on the beach. Parking: there aren’t many places and they don’t reserve it. We were lucky to stay on the parking near the hotel (21 euros per day)otherwise they propose parking anywhere on a distance. Breakfast: every day the same, but it was always tasty and from fresh and selected products.

The rooms and the hotel need to be renovated! The bathroom was in bed condition. Plumbing was very poor!

The location is really great, right in front of the sea, with simple and good restaurants nearby, near Piran (15 min walk- for those wondering if it is possible go there with a stroller YES! Indeed it is :) They left a welcome bottle of prosecco in our room, wich was a cool touch. The staff is friendly and rhe breakfast is good. We stayed in the premium room and it was confirtable with a good size.

The cleaning was the worst, the room had fresh dead mosquitos marks on the wall (and stayed there for days). In the first day I cutted my foot and some drops of blood dropped on the floor, guess who had to clean it? Me! Because after the room ‘cleaning’ all the blood was there yet! The bathroom door didn’t close.

The property is very clean and is very near to the beach and the lake.They provide a bar and private area near the beach with lounges and Cabanas which you can rent for some extra charge and free beach towels.The room had nice sea view and an exceptional breakfast with lots of options. Breakfast with a view of the sea was so pleasant.

Parking places are limited so we were lucky to have just 1 place for us else we would have to use the street parking. Mind it that we had to pay 21euros extra for parking at the hotel.

The accommodation was excellent; the rooms were clean and serviced daily by a friendly cleaning lady. All staff members were consistently professional, approachable, and willing to assist with a smile. Breakfast is served buffet-style and offers a wide variety, including fresh fruit, smoothies, bread, hams, cheeses, olives, yogurts, desserts, as well as various types of coffee and tea. (Well, there really is a lot to choose from!) There is also a hotel parking lot, which made transportation very convenient. I highly recommend this establishment.

I chose Barbar Piran Beach Hotel for its proximity to the beach and wasn't disappointed! The water is literally just outside the hotel and easily accessible. But be warned that the beach is a stone beach (not sand). I didn't do my research and so I didn't properly prepare the kiddos for stones. But they still enjoyed getting into their swimsuits and playing in the water. The rooms we stayed in were very compact, but had all the necessities. The kids loved having a balcony that allowed them to go outside and have fresh air whenever they wanted it. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from: baked goods, meats, cheeses, veggies, cereal, and yoghurt, as well as several fruit juices. It's about a 15-20 minute walk into Piran proper, along a lovely cliff-side path. We walked back from Piran to the hotel in the evening and were able to witness the sunset over the ocean, which was just lovely.

Paying for parking was a bummer, but also unavoidable. It was convenient to leave the car at the hotel and then be able to walk into town.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and we liked that they have their own beach area. However, there were not enough umbrellas to go around, so we had to wait for people to leave. But the beach area was very calm and quiet, but you could also easily access the public beach right next door, which we did because we wanted something shallower. The walk into town is very nice and takes about 15 minutes along the water. The breakfast was excellent.

The room we found to be quite small for us. Wish there were more umbrellas on the beach.

The Hotel is stylish theme, fresh, retro very nice decoration. Very comfortable beds, we slept very well. The room had a great view on the sea as well to the nearby small lake. Breakfast had great selection. The receptionists was excellent. Big thank to David who brought us to a nearby city and gave good tip on the locations. The staff were good and attentive. The short walk to Piran along the sea was a very nice scenery.

The only surprise was that I found the prize of 1/2 liter White House wine a bit too expensive.

Super breakfast with wide range of variety. Location is great, short distance walk from the City and quiet surrounding.

The menu in the local restaurant could contain more foods or specialties at dinner time. Small remark: Cleaning service was executed every day independently of our sign, that we do not want cleaning on a certain day. Positive effect that our room was always clean and towels were exchanged, but it should not have done if not requested considering environmental effects.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We asked for a room upgrade and we got it (our room was exactly next to rhe beach (5m away😁), with a big private beach bed, it was awesome.

There is not enough parking place in front of the hotel. But within 300m away find a parking place (everywhere you need to pay for the parking 18 Euro/day) or 21 Euro in front of the hotel).
