The food was good, delicious, and there was a variety of dishes to choose from. The location is excellent

The room with an extra bed is extremely small for two adults and a child, as is the bathroom. Before arrival, they shared some important information by email, but they left out the fact that free parking is available at the neighboring hotel (Bernardin). However, they didn't even want to let us in there at first. Check-in took about an hour and a half with the parking misery and the difficult task of carrying the luggage in. The bathroom amenities could be more extensive, I missed a cosmetic bag, a shoehorn, something like that.

Rooms were clean and well appointed, if a little far from where to drag the luggage. Shower pressure and hot water were great. Beds and rooms of a good size and pretty comfortable.

A washing Line to hang wet clothes / towels would have been nice; but my biggest issue was that the Aircon is limited to 22 - 24C (or off). The upper limit should be a little warmer (until 25/26C). 24C is too uncomfortable to sleep. I would have preferred to just leave the windows open, but this is not possible without Fly screens.

I booked a standard twin bed room, instead we got a three bed room (one double bed and a sofa bed) with terrace. It was decent sized, the AC worked very well, they changed the towels every day. We had a free parking space, the breakfast is very wide and delicious. We could use the inside salty water pools for free, which was very comfortable after some warm hours out on the beach. I really loved the whole hotel complex. The location was perfect, halfway between Piran and Portoroz, both towns were reachable by foot in max. 30 minutes. The staff was also very kind.

I can't really say anything bad about the hotel, we enjoyed are stay very much. We were lucky with parking, but the free parking spots are quite limited. There is also a garage for 10 euros/day. There are no elevators, it might be a problem for some people (it wasn't for us). The check-in is at Hotel Histrion reception, which is not written previously (but we were prepared by the previous reviews).

Great location of the hotel, our room had a sea view and a balcony which was very pleasant. The hotel is half way between Portoroz and the old town Piran which is great. The room was cozy and nice, with a very comfortable bed and a nice little bathroom. Parking was available and we were able to use the pool area at the larger Histrion hotel. Breakfast was very good with different options. Overall it was a very nice stay, and the staff was very nice and helpful.

I would have loved to have an electric kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee and drink it on the balcony, but it was fine anyways without it. The room door towards the corridor have a caulking issue so whenever we opened the balcony door/windows we could hear and feel the wind bellow. It was a bit cold to keep it open because of this.

The hotel is nicely renovated, rooms are clean and quiet. The selection of food during breakfast and dinner was really great and broad. The indoor water park (several pools and attractions) is included in pricr and great for kids. The staff was in general quite helpful and pleasant. The access to the sea is 3 min from the hotel.

Unfortunately despite having decent amenities for kids, there are some challenges for families with kids. The kids corner is rather empty or with broken toys, there were only 3 kid chairs available during breakfast and dinner, the outside pool for kids was closed(which wasn't made known before booking). Also there is no lift to the rooms so you might struggle if you have a stroller.

Excellent surroundings, nice breakfast, wonderful spa and pools zone( that is the main advantage of the hotel). Overall the hotel rooms are nice.

We had a room where we heard the sewage every time someone in the house took shower or went to the toilet, but i think it was only problem of our room. Rooms are quite soundproof, but the problem is that room doors are slaping with a loud sound, so in the morning it is hard to sleep. would be nice if the hotel had a small sea beach where children could enter the water.

Perfect location (Piran and Portoroz center is also reachable within 15 minutes walk). The Hotel itself is modern, clean and well equipped. The selection for breakfast and dinner is faboulos, at Christmas we had plenty of seafood, desserts from all around the world, chocolate fountain and even champagne. The pools are really good option to relax a bit. We loved staying there and we will definitely return!

Very close to the beach! It has an excellent restaurant with delicious breakfasts and a good wine assortment at the bar. There are good beaches surrounding it. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have reserved parking places. It's a very safe place! It's family-friendly but also suitable for couples to stay there. There's a wellness area for families and children.

The room should be a bit bigger, and the desserts could be more varied. One of the waiters was so rude because we forgot to bring our room card for breakfast.

The location is perfect, nice bay and walking path next to the sea. We could easily walk to Portoroz and Piran as well. The food is excellent, it has a good variety, the desserts are very tasty, and the kids always could choose from the main dishes as well. The wellness area is also good for families, you have to walk to the Histrion's spa, which could be inconvenient in winter/rainy days, but we had sunny weather so there was not a problem. Good value for the price! The sea view room had a big terrace with great panorama.

The hotel was clean and had a massive amazing indoor and outdoor sea water swimming pools. The view of lounge area was outstanding, faced on beautiful sea. My 8 year daughter truly enjoyed the whirlpool, jacuzzi and all the facilities. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Parking was an issue, there was not enough space to park for all the people who come to this big hotel. Breakfast was good, but the staff started tidying 30mins before closing time at 9:30am, there was not many choices for the people who have particular diets, like gluten free options and so on.
