The best location in Piran - you can’t beat it! The ability to rent sunbeds is a real bonus and the rooftop bar is great too. We were apprehensive about the parking situation (parking in a multi story just outside of town, with a free shuttle to the hotel), but it was absolutely fine and seems to be the best / only way to drive to Piran.

The comfort room was a little dated, but was spacious with great AC. The WiFi policy feels quite archaic - in order to browse freely you have to pay, or else you must log in every 30 minutes.

Location was a 10/10 - such a beautiful hotel where we really soaked up the Mediterranean. The staff were incredibly friendly, went out of their way to help, and even surprised us with an upgrade. It was one of our favourite stays of the whole trip.

The facilities and especially the staff were amazing! They were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had on my trip.

There was nothing not to like!

Hotel Piran is a really well located hotel in the old town of Piran, right beside the ocean, comfortable and with really helpful and friendly staff - shout out to Anya at reception ! Thank you all for a most enjoyable stay 🙏

Air conditioning would have been nice as the nights were hot 🥵 but balcony onto ocean provided some solace …..

Location is amazing views were stunning. Staff were polite smart and professional. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Bathroom could do with an update as alittle tired shower door very stiff to slide open and shut, shower rail with shower head on was broken and shampoo holder was broken which was a shame as the bed room was very modern and had everything we needed, so a shame that the bathroom let it down.

Bathroom as explained above. On our 2nd night someone moved into the room next door thankfully they were only there for one night as they were extremely loud two ladies ( the room from ours to there’s had an adjoining door) which was were the noise was coming from as that area was just a door and not solid wall!!

The hotel has a fantastic beachfront location, inasmuch as Piran has a beach (it doesn't very much; it has concrete jetties, and a pebbly wee beach, but is charming nonetheless). The breakfast buffet was plentiful and wide-ranging, and it was pleasant to be able to eat in a kind of conservatory. The staff were helpful at all times. We had a sea view balcony which was worth it. They do cocktails on the roof terrace as from 5pm which is a terrific way to finish the afternoon, as the terrace has a wonderful vista.

It's a hotel literally right by the sea and like all such hotels has to deal with weather elements, meaning that typically fixtures and fittings are not quite as marvellous as in city-centre hotels. A few little things were broken here and there, such as hooks in the bathroom. Worth noting that you have to park in a car park outside the town centre (and then get picked up by the hotel minibus) and that the car park in question seems to have about three different names.

The hotel is located right on the beach, I enjoyed swimming in the sea. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. The ocean view room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very quiet. You cannot park in Piran, but you can drive to the hotel and they will park the car for you. The also provide a shuttle service to/from the Fornace. I made a wrong decision of driving to the garage and parking the rental car myself instead of going to the hotel and let the stuff do it. I scratched my car on the railing going down the floors in the garage, and the hotel stuff was very helpful printing me the form I needed for the car rental company and getting me to the garage so that I could get the information. On the way back from the hotel, the hotel driver got the car so I didn't have to navigate narrow passages myself. When/if I come to Piran again, I'll definitely stay in hotel Piran.

Right by the sea. We had a balcony overlooking the sea which made it a special place to stay. Very extensive and relaxed breakfast by the waterfront. Staff answered queries by email but with clearer information many of these would not have been needed.

Free WiFi was very slow and had to re-activate after 30 mins. Do not expect this for the price the hotel charged. Also expect things to be perfect. They weren’t. Safe was faulty. Someone had removed a battery and when I replaced it I discovered why - Error condition with a loud bleep. One of the bulbs in the bathroom was out. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. I had made a dinner reservation by message which was confirmed. But when we got to the hotel told restaurant was out of action due to a wedding. Staff did find us an alternative venue but we were not impressed. Car park instructions are confusing. Website mentions one name and emails another. They are the same place but a photo with the messaging would help. Also clearer instructions on when the shuttles are available.
