We spend one night in this Hotel as one of our stays of a multi-day Bike-packing tour. The hotel is actually in a very good location in Piran, being in the "second row" - it was calm and silent, no mess of people. The building is totally renovated, looks brand new from inside, digital key system is really practical. The entire Hotel has a very positive vibe and energy, the employees are super-friendly and helpful people. I have to mention/emphasize the quality of the restaurant: it has been exceptionally good! Worth booking a table for dinner, worth every cent! Breakfast, same thing! Excellent choice, fresh baked Breads, fresh and high quality food with a good variety - no junk. The room was also very nice, romantic and cozy. I can only recommend this Hotel to everyone! Thank you Second Life Team for the great experience! Sandor

We walked in and didn’t realize that it was also an amazing restaurant and wine bar! Bonus!! Host was great. The walk from the bus that drops you off at the plaza was difficult dragging luggage. Take the path along the ocean road it is much smoother. Room was cozy but comfortable. Location was amazing for watching sunset. Literally a 30 sec walk to the seawall. Now the restaurant. Best food we had all vacation. Truffle pasta perfect and my wife had the beef which was cooked perfectly. Tasty and filling with the waiter recommending great local wines. Overall very happy we came across this property.

Room was a bit warm but was told the heat had been turned on due to it getting cooler out since it was October.

Great location, fabulous breakfast and serving, kitchen and cleaning staff were excellent!

Manager didn’t seem to know the property well. Put couple in the smaller room, single in larger accommodation and charged all local taxes to single guest in spite of couple making original booking and payment for both. Also, disappointed with rooftop bar. Extensive wine list, but not pouring either of first two selections and only offered much higher priced wines as uncorked. Chose beer! Rooftop should be accessible for all guests to enjoy for reading, lounging…rather then being run as a profit center solely.

Delightful hotel with spacious and well-appointed rooms, friendly and helpful staff members, and an excellent breakfast - one of the best on our 3-week trip. We had a little trouble with the temperature in the wee hours and couldn't get it adjusted, so we opened the window. That was fine until a neighbor had trouble kickstarting his scooter in the morning. A minor hiccup for us. There is foot and scooter traffic in the narrow passage outside, so that could bother some people. But we would definitely stay here again!

One of the best hotels i ever stayed in. In the hart of the city, very easy to find. The bed was very comfy! The bathroom nice and big (also nice shower gel). They had a roof top bar with sushi and drinks. Loved it. And the breakfast was WOW! The eggs were fresh made as you wanted, and all food was fresh and perfect. +🩷 for the carrots juice and the smoothie. Let not talk about the staff! Very nice and friendly and very good english speakers. Congratulation! You are doing a great job!

Our window in room 33 was small and facing a wall, so not too much light and fresh air. Not a big problem when you stay for 1 night or 2 but i wouldn’t like it if i would stay longer.

Lovely small boutique hotel, well situated just a few steps from the main promenade and restaurants, and a few minutes walk from the main square. Our room was nicely decorated, with new furniture, a comfy bed and with everything elae you would expect. Everything was very well kept and tidy, and the staff very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet that had everything we could wish for and was more than we expected given we were staying out of season! All in all we had a great experience and would love to stay here again!

Myself and my brother really liked the simplicity and style of the Zala hotel. Loved the location and the room, we ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the local wine. We really enjoyed Piran, and if either of us return to your beautiful country we would only stay at this hotel.

We would of preferred separate beds, but as the bed was big and comfortable and we liked the room we decided to keep the room for our stay.Excellent

Very good location. We were welcomed with a big smile! He also gave us a lot of information on what to do and see. He also recommended a very good fish restaurant only a few steps away. It’s owned by a fisherman family. It was excellent and good value for money. The breakfast was fantastic even if we were told that it was less than during high season.

Car parking is outside town and cost 23€ per day. You can walk into town (~20min) or take a free shuttle bus to the centre. This is valid for all hotels not only Zala

Awesome location close to the sea shore, surrounding restaurants but not in a party hotspot (second row behind sea shore) thus quiet. Amazing breakfast with very friendly staff fulfilling a big variety of menu wishes on top of a never experienced selections of different breakfast ingredients, presented beautifully and immediately refilled in cozy ground floor environment. Rooms are climatized if you need it, beds/bedding very comfortable and rooms/bathrooms modernized/refurbished around 2 years ago. Rooftop terrace/bar is a beautiful add-on. Staff are very helpful and friendly, giving good restaurant tipps (e.g. Ribič, just in front!) and excursion suggestions. A very recommendable place in Piran. Naljepša hvala!

Just two minor things (complaining on a high level!): After breakfast/check-out time the front desk is not usually occupied (also not during check-in times) and a call is needed for a quick info, help or a restaurant reservation. A water kettle in the room would be a nice-to-have addition.

Very nice room. Elevator to 3rd floor was great. Close to the water and restaurants. We didn’t have breakfast because we had to leave early, but breakfast was included. Easy check in. The receptionist gave us information on where to eat and she was very nice,

Little pricey. Had to park in a parking garage and take bus to hotel. Parking garage was confusing and the parking spaces tight. EXIT PARKING GARAGE ON TOP FLOOR. Hated this parking garage. Bus was easy to find and just minutes to hotel.
