Hotel Piran is a really well located hotel in the old town of Piran, right beside the ocean, comfortable and with really helpful and friendly staff - shout out to Anya at reception ! Thank you all for a most enjoyable stay 🙏

Air conditioning would have been nice as the nights were hot 🥵 but balcony onto ocean provided some solace …..

The hotel is located right on the beach, I enjoyed swimming in the sea. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. The ocean view room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very quiet. You cannot park in Piran, but you can drive to the hotel and they will park the car for you. The also provide a shuttle service to/from the Fornace. I made a wrong decision of driving to the garage and parking the rental car myself instead of going to the hotel and let the stuff do it. I scratched my car on the railing going down the floors in the garage, and the hotel stuff was very helpful printing me the form I needed for the car rental company and getting me to the garage so that I could get the information. On the way back from the hotel, the hotel driver got the car so I didn't have to navigate narrow passages myself. When/if I come to Piran again, I'll definitely stay in hotel Piran.

Location is amazing views were stunning. Staff were polite smart and professional. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Bathroom could do with an update as alittle tired shower door very stiff to slide open and shut, shower rail with shower head on was broken and shampoo holder was broken which was a shame as the bed room was very modern and had everything we needed, so a shame that the bathroom let it down.

Bathroom as explained above. On our 2nd night someone moved into the room next door thankfully they were only there for one night as they were extremely loud two ladies ( the room from ours to there’s had an adjoining door) which was were the noise was coming from as that area was just a door and not solid wall!!

The hotel has a fantastic beachfront location, inasmuch as Piran has a beach (it doesn't very much; it has concrete jetties, and a pebbly wee beach, but is charming nonetheless). The breakfast buffet was plentiful and wide-ranging, and it was pleasant to be able to eat in a kind of conservatory. The staff were helpful at all times. We had a sea view balcony which was worth it. They do cocktails on the roof terrace as from 5pm which is a terrific way to finish the afternoon, as the terrace has a wonderful vista.

It's a hotel literally right by the sea and like all such hotels has to deal with weather elements, meaning that typically fixtures and fittings are not quite as marvellous as in city-centre hotels. A few little things were broken here and there, such as hooks in the bathroom. Worth noting that you have to park in a car park outside the town centre (and then get picked up by the hotel minibus) and that the car park in question seems to have about three different names.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The staff was very helpful, especially Haris who helped with making a call to our next destination and assisting us in figuring out what to do next. Wonderful customer service.

It was disappointing that internet was very poor and there was a charge for better internet. When I booked I requested a room with two twin beds. We were given a room with a double. This was quickly fixed but did mean a trip down to the front desk with our luggage again. Very frustrating.

The transfer from and back to the parking garage which was a little bit away was easy to arrange with just one phone call and was free, the garage itself cost less because we were staying at the Hotel Piran. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and beautifully decorated, breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of options to choose from. There are a lot of restaurants close by that are quick to reach if you walk through the old city of Piran, which is also exceptionally clean and very beautiful. There is a big plaza nearby which always buzzes with energy, you can find Mario's and Kavarna Piran there, which I strongly recommend eating at. In the evenings there are little market stalls open there as well.

The only unusual thing was that there were no sockets next to either side of the bed, but don’t worry, in the room we were staying in you'll have one under the TV and one at the desk. If you plan on using the WiFi, it is free, though you'll have to log on to it every thirty minutes.

Cozy, relaxed atmosphere with friendly, helpful, hard-working staff. Good kitchen with various and tasty food options. Beach is super-close, since the sea is only 25 steps from hotel entrance (cross checked several times ). Hotel offers sun-bed and umbrella renting option, which is great. Location is perfect for those ones who likes to discover an ancient, maze-like old town by foot.

They have an open-air roof-top bar which offers snacks, drinks and a stunning view to the sea and the old town (especially at sunset) but for those ones who would like to go to bed early, music (bass especially) can be a challenge.

Spectacular views from the room and lobby as well as the restaurant and rooftop bar, adequate space around the wide king size bed, private balcony where you can sit at a table, fantastic breakfast. Perhaps they could invest in stronger and more stable wi-fi, otherwise it's not lacking. Everything here is as it should be. Oldschool boutique hotel. Excellent service and friendly staff. Everyone we came into contact with at any time during the two weeks was amazing. This is where I realised how much of a big part people's attitude plays. Our labrador Victor appreciated the cool tiled balcony and parquet floor in the room and we appreciated what a great place the Piran Hotel is for a holiday with your dog. There is an ideal spot near the hotel with a shallow area where the dog can go without disturbing the hotel guests while swimming in front of the hotel. Thank you to the staff for a great holiday, next year we will come back with friends. And guests, don't want room 306 in June, we want it left for us, we watched the sunset from it every night.

You can walk straight from the reception and into the water. Incredible! Breakfast is also great with lots of options. The shuttle that takes you back and forth from the city to your parking also drives very frequently, making it easy to catch one either way.

The pillows where a bit too firm and would have loved to know before arrival that we could just park at the parking garage called garage fornace and jumped on the shuttle with our bags at 7A (says so on the ground) too avoid driving into town and dropping off bags
